First, I would like to apologize for the miss-print on the telephone number and that it caused a delay in the resolution of this issue. I spoke with Walter S. on Wednesday, May 27th, 2015 about the tires. We did sell Walter a CPO vehicle that he had a blow out six weeks after purchasing our vehicle and while towing a 16,000-pound trailer. Walter knew the tire tread was good but the fact the tires were 4 years old; he questioned whether they should have been replaced but went ahead with the purchase of the truck anyway. During our conversation towards resolution, Walter also mentions that he did not want the factory tires put on but wanted to up-grade the tires to Bridgestone Duller Reeves II and he is willing to pay the difference. I called Walter back after checking on the price and availability, I told him that Berge Ford would pay $1,000 towards the purchase of the new Bridgestone Duller Reeves II with Walter paying $100 per tire ($600 total) towards the price of six new tires as a good will gesture on behalf of Berge Ford; he said that was not only fair but more than fair. I had the service department order six new tries had them installed with the white walls in, as requested. I also had the service department do a front-end alignment at no charge. There was no discussion about the spare tire before or after the installation of the brand new up-graded tires; after our phone conversation Walter said he was completely satisfied. Then, even after completely satisfying Walter’s requests, this on-line review was posted by Walter’s wife with the mention of an issue with the spare tire. We have gone ahead with replacing the spare tire for Walter and his wife. I have personally taken care of Walter and this situation with a sincere effort to resolve his concerns.
