I get frustrated when I go in for a simple $50 oil change, but get totally sideswiped with other “maintenance” notifications brought to my attention 30 minutes into my visit. Today’s visit cost me $11 change, but get totally sideswiped with other “maintenance” notifications brought to my attention 30 minutes into my visit. Today’s visit cost me $1100. I know that cars require maintenance at certain milestones, but it become frustrating when these costly repair notifications occur at every visit. More

Heather was wonderful. I took my car in for the regular service/oil change. I do appreciate that they check other items on my vehicle while it’s there. I don’t appreciate t I took my car in for the regular service/oil change. I do appreciate that they check other items on my vehicle while it’s there. I don’t appreciate the tech saying I need to replace my rear brake pads when they measured 5/32. Let’s not forget, in the good old days of safety inspections, when your brakes measured 2/32 that was an advise,not even a fail. Fortunately I worked in the automotive industry for 34 years, otherwise I might have trusted them to be telling me accurate information. The reason I gave Larry Miller Honda 3 stars is because they’ve done a good job on the repairs they’ve done for me in the past. Unfortunately not so good ratings hurt the techs & service writers, not so much management. With as few of miles as I drive my car each year, those brake pads will last me 3 more years! Don't try to sell people repairs they don’t need! More
