After 12 years it was time for me to go car shopping and (since I'm very detail oriented) did my homework. I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted and the price I had in mind. I contacted about 5 dealerships and the first one to respond to my requests was Gary Garneau of the Larry Miller VW dealership. Gary made a very good first impression on me with initial phone message he left for me. I called him back the same day and his very polite and professional manners made me feel comfortable from them get go. I drove to the dealership where he welcomed me and we started talking about my needs. The whole car buying experience with Gary (and the other staff I met) was a very good one. I felt no sales pressure at all, Gary answered all my questions and when it came to to most important issue from a customers perspective, the final price for the car, I was very positive surprised (to say it mildly) that I got the price I was looking for without a lot of haggling and negotiation. I truly enjoyed the entire car purchase experience and can recommend this dealership and the outstanding staff whole heartedly. As someone who doesn't purchase new vehicles very frequently the experience of the process is important and I have to say I always will look back with fond memories to December 1, 2012 when I visited the Larry Miller VW dealersh for the very first time, but definitely not the last time. They are a friendly bunch, and there was never any pressure to sell me a car, (but after a few months, I bought a new VW SportsWagon TDi). Jay Frank (GM) has become a good friend, and his employees are part of the LHMVW family that has won Santa's Heart. If a VW is in your future, Then you'd be foolish to buy your car anywhere else. Your team was lovely to work with. I had to bring my car back a couple of times in one day because they had forgotten to give me temporary plates, they had left a transmitter on my key, tape residue was lef back a couple of times in one day because they had forgotten to give me temporary plates, they had left a transmitter on my key, tape residue was left along the back bumper, and there was oil on the visor... This sounds terrible, but you guys were wonderful about fixing everything very quickly and making the above right! Please pass on my thanks to the team! I worked with Jay Frank the GM and had the most wonderful experience. He did not pressure me at all and was more than accommodating. I have to give him 5 stars on his customer service and patience! Gary was a great salesman. I told him from the beginning that it was all about numbers for me and he got me a no-BS price quickly. He noticed that I was looking at the Sportwagen and, even though I had only that it was all about numbers for me and he got me a no-BS price quickly.
