We found out today the parts they used to fix truck were used. what?? omg.. Now it will likely cost more to fix correctly. Until then can’t use RV going on 2 years. Ohh we have been calling for days trying to get ahold of a manager with out success. And again no one calls back. This is comparable to a expensive horror show but more costly. More

Wy wife and I went into Larson Dodge to purchase a 2022 Tesla Model Y and we had no idea how bad of an experience awaited us. Initially it was going well but after we sat there for hours waiting on them to Tesla Model Y and we had no idea how bad of an experience awaited us. Initially it was going well but after we sat there for hours waiting on them to come up with a value for our 2015 Tesla model S and running our credit thru several banks and credit unions we were shocked when they came back and said they finally got an approval from some bank that we had never heard of or dealt with in the past. They told us that our debt to income ratio was way to high and they would not come up at all on our trade or lower the selling price on there car at all. The interest rate was 10-11% with an extremely high payment which did not sit well with us at all. I asked the to make sure they had input all the information correctly on our app and they assured us that they had. We ended up walking out with no deal made. I called my credit union on the following Monday and asked them to look into the CUDL application and they were shocked to see that Larson Dodge had input our mortgage twice which put our numbers so far out of wack. I called Larson Dodge to discuss this with them and never did receive a call back from our sales associate. I finally called again and talked to the manager and he said that he wanted to make it up to us but unfortunately the vehicle we wanted had sold already. I initiated a loan from my credit union yesterday to purchase a vehicle from a different dealership and everything went smoothly which how it has always gone for us in the past. Im very disappointed with Larson Dodge and there carelessness when it comes to inputing customer information. This whole situation put a bad taste in our mouth and we will never be purchasing a vehicle from Larson Dodge or any other Larson dealership going forward. I didn't mention any names because I would not want them to be singled out but I do want others to be made aware of this issue whether or not it was on purpose. More
UPDATED: I was asked to take this review down and I said I would think about it. Instead, I'll update it . They did compensate me ($1600). They reminded me on how they did me a favor by selling me this I would think about it. Instead, I'll update it . They did compensate me ($1600). They reminded me on how they did me a favor by selling me this van without my husband being present. (I'm so disgusted by that) They also said they fired the salesman, which frankly made me upset, he needed more training not to be fired. However my brand new van NOW has a CHECK ENGINE light is on saying "powertrain problems." The service department cannot give me a loaner and I have to leave it there for three days without a loaner van. If could leave a negative stars I would. After my first meeting with the salesman set for 10:00 a.m, he was late. He was fine, nice enough but not very detailed on the vehicle I wanted. Things just went down hill from there. I only test drove one car, took 15 mins and than SIX hours later the finance people could see me. I had a nursing infant and they just sat me on a couch and made me wait. I came in with my own funding ready to buy. They didn't want to work with my POA, even though I asked on the phone and they assured me it was absolutely no problem, but than made comments about me "getting a divorce and stealing the car" Because I bought the car without my husband. They asked why I didn't have a job. (Stay at home mom of four is a job) Three weeks later I'm still dealing with them because they sold me the WRONG CAR in their system. They had to pay off my loan in full and have me apply for a second loan. Now my interest rate is a full point higher making my payments almost $100 more a month!!! STAY AWAY!!! Larson's is a larger dealership but frankly they don't care about the individual anymore. They will blow smoke at you but it's all fake. More
Stay away. learn from my mistake. This was my first purchase in over 17 years. What I have learned is that the auto sales industry has not changed much. learn from my mistake. This was my first purchase in over 17 years. What I have learned is that the auto sales industry has not changed much. Biggest gripe was that they slipped in an extra $500 charge on top of our agreed to purchase price. It is my fault for not noticing when signing the documents in the finance office and its fair I should have caught it. Second biggest complaint is I was sent there from Costco via costcos auto buying program. Multiple times asked for the "costco price sheet" and salesman told me thats what they were giving me. I only did a little research before hand about the price on KBB and said I was suprised it was so much higher than the range I saw. The salesman immediately lowered the price to the high end of the range. After the purchase Costco essentially told me that they didn't actually give me the Costco price. The salesman told me multiple times it was the "Costco Price". Looking back it was a flat out lie. They also lied about the car not being in stock (they had to get from another dealership) until I was going to walk out - I didn't actually think at the time it was a lie, I guess they wanted to sell me another vehicle and didn't think I was serious about the options I needed. But magically they found it in stock as I was walking out. Lastly, they handed over the Vehicle (Brand new Pacifica) knowing it was defective and needed a repair and said nothing. When handed off to me the gas tank was 3/4 full, which I thought was odd at the time. Why didn't they fill it up since it was over 100 miles where they had to pick it up from so I know they had to fill it up. When I went to fill up the tank a weeks later I found the issue that the tank has a vaccum problem that resulted in causing any gas filling station to automatically shuts off thinking my tank is full - you can only fill a few ounces at a time. So you essentially it takes about 30+ minutes to get the tank full as you have to hold the gas trigger very slighly to allow a small amount of gas in so as not to cause it to shutoff. Salesman obviously tried to fill it, gave up and handed the car over to me not saying a word. So It is still in the repair shop for 4 days (warranty covers obviously) and to be honest I would have still purchased the Vehicle but since they didn't share this it caused quite a bit of trouble since I have 6 kids and not having this minivan to drive the family around has been really problematic. Knowing it needed to be repaired I would have been able to plan around it. I have shared these issues with the original salesman, manager, and somebody who was in charge of "customer experience" and I have not got one response. Nobody will respond to my emails or calls. Purchased a new Ram 3500 Limited in September of 2019 at Larson, the truck has been flawless to date. I finally needed some warranty work so I called for my first ever service appointment. First the servi Larson, the truck has been flawless to date. I finally needed some warranty work so I called for my first ever service appointment. First the service department hung up the phone on the first two attempts, the third attempt the call was answered. I tried to schedule the vehicle and the service scheduler kept stating that they needed to determine the cost of my service, I explained several times that my vehicle was still under the factory 3 year 36,000 mile warranty and that I purchased an extended warranty - again they kept talking about how much I would need to pay. So I asked - does Ram still have a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty - the service writer answered "I do not know." I then asked how long it would take to diagnose my vehicle - I told them of the problem and the code it was flashing. I stated that I live a few hours south and per the Larson guidance I would like to reserve a serve loaner car if they were going to keep my vehicle. The service writer stated that they do not reserve vehicles. So I read them the information from the Larson website and she said that they could not help me. Not impressed at all with my first attempt at Larson service so I went to another dealer who handled everything on the first call. More

After giving some thought and reading over others comments I thought I would share yet another horrible experience we have had at this dealership. Given the fact after the first experience and them k comments I thought I would share yet another horrible experience we have had at this dealership. Given the fact after the first experience and them keeping our truck nearly a month for a warranty issue to be fixed and regular maintenance (which all our vehicles are well maintained), We thought to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance to do right. Took our truck in for yet another issue that was yet to be identified until we called to find out 4 days later(We had to call them because they have yet to call us), here's where it takes a turn, instead of going directly to the problem at hand being warranty they hold up doing any of the work because they want to know that we are going to PAY for it. Ok so by this point we tell them it's covered but we would pay regardless of the outcome warranty wise(a Rebel with 50,000 on it), now that we have been dodged numerous times by the service dept manager and assistant we're totally frustrated and call and get the warranty adjuster to come take a look, we're still doing all the calling because NO one wants to communicate with us or offer any assistance whatsoever(even after showing in person no less). After finding out from the adjuster that went to the dealership direct to identify the problem, that in fact it wasn't the extended warranty at all that it was a Chrysler/Dodge warranted item but wait for it...... LARSON DODGE hasn't called us back to inform us. now that they have had our truck all of January and going into February, I thought to myself, what if we or I was someone that depended on this vehicle to get to and from work? what if I were a single parent that depended on this vehicle? They would have totally given this same unjust treatment to everyone, so in my opinion they have held our truck with no means of other transportation and didn't think twice. So, the moral of this is, they have none....DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICE. Signed, UNJUST More
