From the moment we stepped on the lot Shannon treated us with the utmost respect. He took his time in asking what we were looking for, going over options, explaining the cars and the financing process. He was very patient as we test drove several cars. He made sure we were purchasing exactly what we needed and did not try to pressure us into something we were not comfortable with. The financing process was simple and we had absolutely not problems. The receptionist gave my daughter a pen and paper to draw while she watched cartoons in the lobby and even gave her a cookie. She was thrilled! We would definitly recommend Shannon at Lawrence KIA! My wife and I have owned a Kia for a few years, and with it having been a good vehicle and a growing family were looking to get into a new-to-us Kia Sedona. Our grand plan was to use our tax refund money t it having been a good vehicle and a growing family were looking to get into a new-to-us Kia Sedona. Our grand plan was to use our tax refund money to put towards a down payment on a used vehicle and attempt to get our monthly payment down as little as possible. One Saturday we decided to stop by the recently opened Lawrence location for Shawnee Mission Kia, to see what they had available. We were pleasantly greeted by Kevin and explained to him that we weren't really looking to pick up a vehicle that day but wanted to see what kind of van we'd be able to get with our refund money. Kevin understood and suggested that instead of checking out vehicles that might be out of our price range that we head inside and see what kind of financing we could get. Long story short: I was able to get decent financing on a 2012 Kia Sedona LX. As the vehicle did not come with remote start, Kevin was able to get that thrown in as well. We did have some issues with getting the remote start installed and programmed correctly, but the service center was able to get things straightened out to our satisfaction. While I was waiting at the dealership I felt right at home, they even provided lunch in the form of a Quizno's sandwhich (the GM of the dealership is also the local franchisee of the Quizno's in Lawrence). Kevin was a great help and we had a good time talking gaming and computing to pass the time. I could see us purchasing from that location again with no reservations. More

Both Shannon and Mike were very friendly and helpful without being pushy. Shannon was very accommodating with the test drives and explained the vehicles features very well. He also was very open and honest when discussing price and interest rates.And when we picked up the vehicle, it was in tip-top shape and Shannon carefully explained how to operate everything and he setup my phone to operate with the Bluetooth system. Also, Mike was very good in explaining the final paperwork involved with the sale. I've had a lot of car buying experiences with dealers and this one topped them all! More

My fiance and I spent a lot of time comparing different crossovers online and decided to head down to the Kia of Lawrence first. From the moment my fiance and I started talking to Dustin, we knew we were in the right place. He started looking for the Sorento we had imagined driving and had us go for a good test drive to get to truly know the car - we never felt like they were trying to just get rid of a car, but were actually trying to help us find the car we wanted. They spent a good deal of time working different numbers with us and accommodating our requests for upgrades. Further more, when it turns out we just wouldn't be able to handle the payment to own, they spent additional time helping us figure out a lease. That day they drove out to Kansas City to bring back the Sorento we wanted - upgrades and all. After putting new tires on for us, they even detailed the car. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of getting a new car and cannot stop recommending them whenever we hear about someone also in the market. I recommend stopping by the Kia of Lawrence because you will get a great car that great people will stand by. More

We had come to an agreement regarding what we needed and wanted in a vehicle, and spent some time finding a dealership we were comfortable working with and price that fit our budget. Shannon was wonderful to work with. He was patient and not pushy. I believe he sincerely tried to get us the best price possible for the car we chose. I love the car; it is exactly what I hoped to buy. We bought a Sedona Van; perfect for our needs. I would recommend others taking a look at Kia of Lawrence; their customer service appears to be exactly what I was looking for. More
We took our 2008 kia rio in for some warranty work. We had been to another kia service location ( not associated with the Lawrence kia) and they told us the problem did not exist... Within 10 min. the La had been to another kia service location ( not associated with the Lawrence kia) and they told us the problem did not exist... Within 10 min. the Lawrence service department had located the problem and ordered the part. Within 24 hours the car was fixed! Not only did they do the warranty work, they also cleaned my car inside and out. If you are looking for professional and friendly service this is the place to go. More
