Demanding Life’s Chore Made Comfortable We woke up this morning realizing that it was time to head into the demanding and energy sapping responsibility of car shopping. Mind you, I don’t even like to shop for milk and eggs and ripe watermelon... much less a car. Yet sadly, the day had come. We thought about where to head and a few dealerships came to mind. Yet as we approached our busy summertime town, we both automatically said... let’s start off at Lee. We’ve had several cars with them and received much help and assistance each time. We both had the distinct feeling that we didn’t want to forge a new relationship when buying a car. We’re an older couple with some health problems and only a cup of energy between us. The sun was bright outside and I looked for comfort in an AC’d building! We have had the awesome experience in the past to work with Robin. Alas she was away on vacation. I was a little concerned but decided to trust the process.We were greeted by a man named Alex who offered us some moments of calm as he worked to access what was important to us! He listened carefully as he began to put the number of puzzle pieces together. Not the easiest of tasks when purchasing a car. But we both felt attended to but not pushed in the least. Bottom line- we were led truthfully yet gently through the process ahead. I do not mean to sound melodramatic. It was a comfortable and respectful and I felt like we were in helpful hands the whole way. I looked at my husband just a short while ago and said “did we just buy a car, today?” “We did,” he said.”And not only do we have a beautiful little car but it was actually a pleasant experience!” I couldn’t have agreed more. A huge Thank you to Lee. A huge Thank you to Alex- a knowledgeable and kind young man who helped us find our way. And Thank you to Robin whose presence brought us back in the door! More
