The test drive went well. I adored the Fit and those Magic Seats! Adam the sales guy, although a bit 'green' was friendly. My offer was accepted...and then I went for the .9% financing...with an 814 FICO and they come back with demanding a co-signer (oh but they, the dealership could get me in this car for 5.4 APR)...it took 2 more hours for them to wipe the sweat off their brow pretending to be heroes saying I was approved because they had to lie to Honda Finance saying that I was Princess Diana. I was ready to sign and then Anthony the finance guy says 'by law I have to inform you about the warranty.' Cool. No problem. I decline the extended warranty. The Gap Insurance...and he starts pressuring me saying stuff like "if you drive out of here and hit a pot hole you will be stranded on the highway and be out thousands of dollars for the repairs and there is no such thing as a bumper-to-bumper warranty any more!' 'There are 200 feet of wires under the hood!" "If you get an oil change at Jiffy Lube you will not be covered!" I didn't feel frightened but just wondered about the reliability of new Hondas...my previous ones were so reliable! I still said 'no thank you...' That's when Anthony yells for Adam and he comes in and says 'Why won't you purchase the extended warranty?' I pounded my fists on the desk like a Mother and said...BECAUSE I SAID SO...they called me rude and disrespectful...like you think I'll be back and buy the next day? I went up the street and got a really cute Kia... More
Worst car dealership experience of my life From day one I made it clear I did not want to play the game. It has become a chore and very inefficient but it's all I was handed over the last week From day one I made it clear I did not want to play the game. It has become a chore and very inefficient but it's all I was handed over the last week or so. Although we scheduled it ahead of time, when Chris and I came in the 1st time the sales person was totally unprepared, insulted us with the trade in value and relied completely on the game of coming in with a deal so bad even an unseasoned buyer would bulk so she could fall back on the massive ground to present better numbers. LV Honda was told I have in the past and will walk out again if this was done. It was, I did. Sad part is the salesperson seemed truly shocked. The second visit was a vast improvement. The numbers were decent, not great but decent and LV Honda seemed to take me serious. In hindsight, that wasn't the case. Even with Chris and I upselling ourselves $3/4k (?), the game proceeded. We have 3 separate numbers for the performance package: $4,000 told a number of times on a car on the floor, $2,851 when brought up later and $2,499 from the official Honda website. We were further told the $2,851 was for the make, model and engine we chose. That particular part of the game came to a screeching halt when LV Honda was shown a screenshot of the Honda website proving otherwise. The 3rd visit was the ultimate display of complete lack of preparedness, respect and professionalism. I should have seen it coming when LV Honda once again was unprepared and unable to follow up on the simplest of tasks and promises. 1: The car was not delivered to the dealer on time (granted this may not have been their fault) 2: We were not sent a photo of the car as promised meaning we were coming in to sign papers on a car sight unseen. 3: We were not told the final monthly payment before coming in 4: LV Honda lost the copy of our insurance card. 5: LV Honda tried to rush into the signing process leaving the actual financial paper as last. How many times do you make such a major purchase and wait till last minute to know what it actually cost? 6: LV Honda made a $5,000 mistake on the financial paperwork. 7: LV Honda was totally lost when I bulked at numbers that were so far off. 8: LV Honda went into what could only be called panic mode when they realized the $5,000 mistake was in my favor. 9: LV Honda refused to offer the numbers when the paperwork was corrected. I asked directly what they were and was told "what we discussed". I had to ask 3 times before I got the final number 10: LV Honda treated us like criminals when I decided negotiations needed to be reopened. Being treated with no respect after we pointed out their HUGE mistake we decided to ask for a better deal. All LV Honda sales could say was no to anything requested. Apparently, LV Honda figured they had the horse corralled and they had no reason to show respect, courtesy or an ounce of thankfulness. 11: LV Honda sales was speechless when I refused to be put off and asked to see a higher level manager 12: LV Management couldn't have been more cold and rude. The gentlemen came out without introduction or shaking my hand. He simply firmly and coldly asked if he could help. I told him we pointed out a huge mistake on their part, we deserve the deal sweetened for it. We were told with about a nasty look as possible "We would have found it" and in a cold firm voice one word. "NO". Our response was, I haven't felt right about this deal since day 1 we do not want this car. We want the keys back to our car. His response was again cold and firmly one word "OK" then turned to sales and said "you have their keys don't you?" I don't do business with people that are incapable of showing me and my fiancé an ounce of respect. Would you? LV Honda had one victory. They made it to the top of my list of worst experiences dealing with a car dealership. I've never seen such levels of lack of preparedness, lack of respect, insulting behaviour and complete lack of professionalism They got caught with their pants down and juts got rude when called on it even though it would have benefitted me More

Pleasant Buying Experience, Excellent Sales Consultant I purchased a new vehicle from Lehigh Valley Honda, and it was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I've ever had. Jennifer Leiby was my sa I purchased a new vehicle from Lehigh Valley Honda, and it was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I've ever had. Jennifer Leiby was my sales consultant and she did a fantastic job. Jennifer was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I wanted to purchase. She was also a good listener and quickly recognized that I was an informed buyer who was ready and able to buy. She adjusted accordingly and navigated us through the process very effectively. The negotiation was no-nonsense, efficient and respectful. The paperwork and delivery went smoothly as well. Overall, I give her 5 stars as a sales consultant. I'm not exactly sure who the sales manager was, but I believe it may have been Travis Kost. In any case, kudos to the sales manager for his/her part in reaching what I thought was a fair and competitive deal for both myself and the dealership. The negotiation process was nonsense free, and I really appreciated that. Anthony Proscia was the finance manager assigned to my transaction. He did a great job of explaining the limitations of factory warranties, the various supplemental options they offer, and how they can eliminate unexpected expenses during ownership. I've previously purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership, and I've always had good experiences while buying and throughout ownership of the vehicles. Their service department does a great job. Overall, I think this is a very well run dealership. I will be back when I'm ready to buy a new car (assuming they offer one that I like and Honda continues to make great vehicles). I highly recommend giving them a try. More

They said h Now I remember why we did not buy our last two Hondas here. Walked in and asked for specific person that we have been communicating with. They said he was busy so they gave us to this other lady named Jazz. Every other dealer we went to today was able to pull keys and tags in a matter of minutes. She took 10 minutes while we were waiting around wondering what happened to her with my drivers license. We were talking amongst ourselves wondering if this was a tactic and apparently the sales manager overheard us and told her. She comes back out and kind of accusing leases my sales manager said you were complaining about being kept waiting. What is the problem? Do you have somewhere to go?" Should've walked out right that second. They didn't have the inventory of what we wanted and after a test drive, we were ready to proceed to other dealers. She said "well, then good day" when we said we would return another time. She guilt us into coming inside to meet her sales manager. He basically did nothing for us either. Promise to do a search. We will see if we hear back from them. Meanwhile, went to two other dealers who totally had their act together and had classy, non-pushy, professional acting sales people. Will never consider playing a car from them ever again. It had been years since we bought her two previous Hondas and now I completely remember when we avoided this one. More
Can't Trust The Man in the Business Office-BEWARE!!!!! I bought a new Honda Civic. My salesman was a decent guy--Richard Mello. However, the man I dealt with in the Business Office--Anthony P. (he never I bought a new Honda Civic. My salesman was a decent guy--Richard Mello. However, the man I dealt with in the Business Office--Anthony P. (he never even gave me his business card so I have no idea what his last name is) is the EXACT stereotype of what gives car salesmen a bad name. He was rude and didn't tell me all the information I needed to make decisions based on purchasing the extended warranty--and when I went to cancel it a few days later dealing with him was a nightmare. While sitting in his office I could not decided whether or not to purchase it --which he knew. Instead of telling me not to worry because I had 60 days to change my mind (something I discovered on my own when reading the fine print of the contract--certainly not something Anthony told me about) he told me I could wait a few days to purchase the warrranty but the price would be higher if I did. Well Anthony, upon going home and checking what my husband paid for his recent purchase of a service contract on his new recently purchased Mazda I discovered I was already over paying because his service contract was a lot less expensive and covered many, many more things. When I called to cancel Anthony laughed at me and said NO ONE has EVER cancelled a policy and he couldn't believe I wanted to. Well, Anthony--believe it. He was rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. I would suggest to LV Honda to look into the way Anthony conducts business and the way he treats customers. My salesman-Richard Mello was a nice guy--but Anthony left a very sour taste in my mouth and unfortunately for LV Honda that is the part of the story my friends, relatives and co-workers will remember Also I was told I would be getting a survey--which I never did receive--guess the delaership only wants positive comments. I was with a friend who just purchased a Jeep and was given a slip from the dealer with information on it about this DealerRater site. Thought I would check it out on my own to see if LV Honda was on it--and am glad I did. Lucky for me---because no one at LV Honda ever gave me any information on how to rate them. More
