"Can’t be trusted and rude service"

I just want to make a comment on your service department. I had an issue with a battery that was still under warranty through Honda. I wanted to get it replaced and also replace the terminal leads as the positive would not tighten well. To start I pulled into the quick service. I was told to go to the service side. When walking into the service I was told I should go to the quick service. I said I went there first and was directed there. He took my name and I explained the battery was under warranty. He said there would be a charge for a diagnostic test for the battery/alternator. I said okay and understood and also asked to replace the bad terminals. Before bringing the car I checked the alternator and battery to see if charging with a meter. Long story short I was told I needed a new alternator for over 1k. I said just replace the battery as it was under warranty and also the leads. This still ran me over 200 somehow. I then measured the battery daily running and off to confirm it was charging and the battery was holding a charge. I also scheduled an appointment a week later with a local garage. I explained what I did to the other garage and we decided if there is no issues after a week I would cancel my appointment. That’s what ended up happening. No issues. There was another issue that happened during inspection that I was told must be repaired to pass inspection. This cost was over 6k and I took it to a different garage and they passed it.. At this point I don’t think I will buy another Honda and plan on sharing my stories online and to the bbb.

Hello Jason – We are very sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. We are more than happy to take corrective action if necessary. We would also like to correct the record with respect to what happened. Your recent visit was the result of a battery issue. We ran a test and confirmed that your battery needed to be replaced. To make up for the earlier miscommunication about where to go, we covered the cost of the battery and you paid for the battery cable. At that time, we informed you that there is a pretty good chance that your alternator was failing so we provided you with pricing information. We never told you that an alternator was “needed” at that moment. Moreover, the $6000 that you are referring to was the total that appeared on the bottom of your multi-point inspection report. This report includes the cost estimate we gave you to replace the alternator as well as the cost estimate of all the items you have declined from previous visits to our shop. We do this so our customers have a full accounting and history so they can make informed decisions about the maintenance of their vehicle. At no time did we attempt to sell you something you don’t need or mislead you. Clearly, there was a lack of understanding/miscommunication that led to this point. Your Service Advisor, Sam Azar, would be more than happy to meet with you or discuss the matter over the telephone. Again, we sincerely apologize if you felt mislead but that was not our intention. Can't agree more with X Customer. Took my Accord there for service and ended up paying more than $1000 for inspection, emissions testing, oil and filter change, and of course the $100 cabin filter. Found out I needed brake pads and rotor work to pass inspection, so I agreed. Drove the car home and the brakes were making a scraping noise. Went back the next day and told then I had a problem and they looked at me like I had three eyes but said they would look at the brakes anyway. Turned out the rotors were not machined correctly. Their response was "the guy who worked on them yesterday didn't know how to properly run the turning down machine". You're kidding right, you had someone work ON MY BRAKES that didn't know what he was doing. That was my last visit there. Support your local small business mechanic, you'll get the same work done at a fraction (0.10 %) of the price.

Hello - we are sorry to read the contents of this review. We respectfully disagree with your assertions. There is no way we would let a technician that is not properly trained work on a customers car, particularly machining brakes. Moreover the assertion that we discriminate or take advantage of women is also false. We've been in business for over 30 years with thousands of satisfied, repeat customers, many of them women. The assertion that our prices are 90% higher than a local mechanic is also dramatically embellished. We constantly shop the market to ensure that our prices are competitive and they are. If your vehicle required that much work, it's probably because it hasn't been properly maintained. With all that said, if you are having a problem, we would be more than happy to assist you with correcting your concern. "Outstanding Service and well coordination"

Again i was impressed with the service which was well coordinated and on time. My appointment was at 8.45 AM forEmission & inspection, oil-filter change and rotation. I do not have any complain to report or bring on someone attention. I have minor comment and need to address by the service manager and which is understandable that service is very busy. But that is the reason people make an appointment and should provide to customer on time in and on time out. I was out close to 11.30 AM which need to address as overall. Again i am not complaining but customer time is important also so the service personal and might help to book the appointment accordingly instead overbooked everyday. Understand like to earn business and make money but pay little attention on this to earn more business and satisfy customer while providing outstanding service on efficient time. My service manager was Sam Azar and he attended me as customer very good and he did everything at his level to get me out quick. Thanks...Atul

From the start Larry was a polite, respectful and most importantly, listening salesman. After dealing with nearly a dozen different dealers, we returned to Larry at Lehigh Valley Honda and bought our new car. Highly recommend this dealer and Mr. Bowman.

"Smoke and mirrors sales approach,"

Was sold a used car that was told was in great shape. Salesperson Mike Holmwood opened the doors for us to test drive. Inspected engine, trunk, interior., etc. purchased it the next day for $7200. Upon returning home noticed that both door locks on drivers side were not working. Reported it within 15 hrs of ownership and was first offered $1000 repair , then offered to split bill. What a sham and unethical business!!! Management would not do the right thing, plus they were arrogant. Lehigh Valley Certified Used Car and Truck Center Lehigh Street Allentown PA. Buyer beware!!!!!

The vehicle you purchased was advertised and sold to you in "as-is" condition, and it was priced accordingly. When offered warranty coverage, you declined to purchase it.
