Went in for my first oil change. Was out in 10 minutes. Friendly, courteous service all around and waiting room was very clean. They asked how I liked my new Veloster and I told them I loved it. I came 5 minutes before 5pm but the door to parts was locked and I had to wait 5-10 minutes just for someone to go into parts and ask about what I need. Departments shouldn't close before closing time. T locked and I had to wait 5-10 minutes just for someone to go into parts and ask about what I need. Departments shouldn't close before closing time. Then I waited for 20 minutes as the parts were looked for and eventually found. It was very frustrating, especially since I had two previous phone conversations with service, and they knew I was coming in for those parts at some point. Also, the reason I only got the parts and not the service is because the estimated labor charge was astronomical. I was told it would cost me $30-40 to install a hood switch. I even offered $15 and was turned down. A hood switch is a small piece of rubber, that, once you pop the hood, you literally pull out the other piece of rubber and put the new one in. It took me 7 seconds. Unless the labor rate is $18,000 per hour, the estimated labor was an insult at best and a crime at worst. Someone should be ashamed. There's making a profit and then there's greed and deceit. I do not want to be taken advantage of and I should not have to be on site for 40 total minutes to get 2 parts. More
Everyone at this dealership is just wonderful to deal with. Always accommodating. I like the fact that when just bringing my car for a regular oil change, etc. no appointment is needed. Service department responded immediately to my 'check engine light' issue. It was a Saturday, and the service team went above and beyond to diagnose and repair the car immediately. I called Scott on a Wednesday night almost at the time he was leaving. I called in panic because something was wrong with Sonata and the other car repair place was giving me the run around. He didn't really was leaving. I called in panic because something was wrong with Sonata and the other car repair place was giving me the run around. He didn't really have any appointments for the next day, but because of the issues I was having he asked me if I could deal without the car for a day or two and he would try to fit me in. I dropped the car off at 900am Wednesday morning and said they woul call me as soon as they knew something. I wasn't expecting to hear anything until about Thursday since I was really only fit into the schedule. Within 3 hours, Scott was on the phone already telling me what was wrong. Had the work done and he even gave a call to give updates on how the progress was doing. I had my car back by 530 that night. I would take my car back to these guys anytime! What great service. Thank you, Scott. More
