We wanted to do our due diligence though, so we left and visited Hendrick Toyota and Fred Anderson Toyota. The differences in the sales personnel at the other two dealerships and Phillip is what mattered to us. As I mentioned, Phillip did not ask about our budget to try and “fit” us into a car. Hendrick Toyota did. Phillip did not attempt to rush us into buying a car because of dwindling inventories or the uncertainty of availability in the future. Fred Anderson Toyota did. While it would have felt like we made a concession if we bought from Phillip right from the go, it was gathering all the information form other dealerships made our choice to return to Phillip that much better. I messaged him as we left Fred Anderson to start getting our 4Runner ready because we were heading back to him. While I try to make car buying a limited affair, I would buy from Phillip Johnson again at once. I will also recommend Phillip to anyone looking a for vehicle.
