Didn't want to apply for vehicle purchase right now because of lack of a down payment, and working on credit. Got talked into it. "We have a wide array of lenders and have done $0 before". Filled out credit app. Hours later "Will send you the paperwork tomorrow". No details. Nothing. Next morning get a call, "I got a pending approval, I'll give you a call back." I'm kinda stoked, thinking let me make sure I can get everything in order. I have access to a little $ for a down, and I'll get insurance squared away. End of that day receive a text "Do you have $17,000 down?" For a $29,000 vehicle. It's a no, obviously. Continue to get email/texts asking me to send info so the finance dept can process application. Explain I already had, and why there was no deal and how they had dropped the ball. The most troubling is in following conversations they take no accountability when I explain why. It's all "not our fault" for the experience I had. Steer clear. More
