We're sorry you feel this way. This repair involved a GM warranty transmission that was purchased as a counter-sale part. Under GM's warranty guidelines, counter-sale transmissions are only covered when installed by a certified repair facility. We initially understood that to be the case, but later learned the transmission had been customer-installed, which changed the warranty process. We contacted GM for guidance and followed the procedures they required. We also absorbed diagnostic labor that was not covered in an effort to help. We understand your frustration, but our decisions were based on GM warranty policy, not a desire to inconvenience you. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best moving forward.
