We were not rushed, we were taken seriously and we came together with a "deal" that made us happy. ATTN> Ladies, if you are looking to buy a Hyundai and you are alone- ask for Heather McCrum, She will treat you like family. We were so happy we left with two cars: a 2013 Sonata and a 2013 Santa Fe and that's no lie!! Thanks Heather! More
Frank went out of his way to find me a car that he knew I would really like. I went in there with the intention of buying a Santa Fe. We looked at 3 lots to find a color that I liked until I realized that would really like. I went in there with the intention of buying a Santa Fe. We looked at 3 lots to find a color that I liked until I realized that I wanted to try a Tuscon. I liked that one better and we found the perfect car. I left the lot with a huge smile! I have already recommended your dealership to a friend at work and I told her to ask for Frank! Thank you! When I went to this dealership I was very frustrated with 'sales personnel' from a previous experience. No comparison; these people made me feel so comfortable and were ready to assist me with a brand new 'sales personnel' from a previous experience. No comparison; these people made me feel so comfortable and were ready to assist me with a brand new vehicle at my price range. They are 'honest' and tell you exactly what fits you best. I never went to a dealership before where it was an all around A-1 rating. In my optinion; don't waste your time going to other places; it's too valuable; go straight to Lester Glenn where you get everything - great Sales, great Finance Mgmt., and great Service and wonderful people! In every aspect of the transaction, the experience was GREAT, except for the time element, which is a reflection on the dealership, and in no way reflects badly on the sales person or finance person. It should not take 4 hours to complete a purchase of a new vehicle. It is a tribute to Mike Barnes and Al in financing that I remained that long. The dealership needs to trimline the process, somehow, so that it takes less than half that time. I was so happy with Mike, Al and my new car, that I brought my friend in to buy a new car. She told me that, had I not been with her, she would have left the dealership. I suspect the dealership does lose a number of sales every week because of your process. The Hyundai dealership in Freehold advertises that they have a new car purchase completed within 45 minutes. While this may seem ambitious, I do think that Lester Glenn needs to make a concerted effort to significantly reduce the time required to purchase a new car. Let me repeat: Mike Barnes is FANTASTIC; Al in finance is GREAT; but I give Lester Glenn, the dealership, a 2 for it's lengthy process. Without Mike and Al, I would not have stayed long enough to complete the transaction and I certainly would not have brought my friend in to buy a car. The dealership's process was the only negative aspect of the experience, but it is one about which I will feel compelled to caution anyone who is thinking of buying a new car from Lester Glenn. The only other suggestion I can make is that you should clone Mike Barnes. More
This is my second time purchasing a car from Lester Glenn. It seems this time was even better than the first time. I originally started out with Stacy and Kim helping me. They made sure the two vehicles I wanted to test drive were there for me. I was trading my vehicle for something newer and I wanted certain features that I didn't have in the last car. When I arrived and spoke with Frank he was as cordial as ever. He gave me over to his salesman John. John sat with me and listened to all I had to say in what I was truly looking for in a car. He arranged for me to test drive the first car with my son. Then we tested the second car. There was no pressure from John and he left us alone to discuss in private anything we wanted. Deciding on the second vehicle, John got the pay off on my vehicle and then proceeded to see what I could get price wise for my trade in. He came up with a figure which wasn't acceptable and went back to the Finance gentleman to try and do a little better for me. Again, the second time wasn't quite there yet in the price I was willing to pay. So after the third time going back to Al we settled on the price. It was a great experience in purchasing a car from them. I was never pressured at all and they were going out of their way to see that i was happy in my choice. After signing the papers with Al, John took me out in the car and explained everything to me showing me what everybutton would do. He was not in a hurry and we took our time. If I ever need to buy another car I would definately go back to Lester Glenn even though I have to drive an hour each way. It is definately worth the trip. I also would have no hesistation in recommending everyone I know to go there if they are looking for a car.You are treated with respect and everyone there is a "10". I can't thank everyone there enough for making me so happy in my new purchase. More
