This is the third Hyundai I have purchased at Lester Glenn and as in the past I was treated with respect and professionalism. Sam Fowler was very courteous and informative. He reviewed all of the featur Glenn and as in the past I was treated with respect and professionalism. Sam Fowler was very courteous and informative. He reviewed all of the features of the car and he had the answers to all of my questions. Sam worked with Jay Greenburgh to get me the best price and finance rate. When I left the showroom with my new car I was very happy with my new car and with the experience I had with Sam Fowler. I would certainly refer family and friends to ask for Mr. Fowler if they were purchasing a car at Lester Glenn. More
Augie was most professional, extremely kind to both my wife and son.Nick's expericence provided good sales experience and future credit enhancement opportunites as a young twenty year old. To my unexpected surprise I was forced to go out and purchase a car this month as a result of severe flooding caused by Hurricane Irene and the damage that it caused to my car. Buying a new car in a sh purchase a car this month as a result of severe flooding caused by Hurricane Irene and the damage that it caused to my car. Buying a new car in a short time frame was the last thing I wanted to do. I’d much rather research cars for a month, find the best car and work out the best deal over the course of another two weeks. Luckily, Consumer Reports and Edmunds.com were extremely high on the Hyundai Elantra and Sonota. I used Emunds.com to get quotes from as many dealerships in my area as I could. The very first to call me was Stacy at Lester Glenn. Other calls and e-mails from other dealerships soon followed. Many of them promising me the exact package, color and price I wanted for the Elantra. Only Ron, the sales manager at Lester Glenn was honest with me. He told me point blank that this is the number one selling car in America and there is no way he could guarantee me my color choice and price point. Of course at first I thought Ron was playing hardball and I just needed to visit one of these other dealers to prove him wrong. Well boy was I wrong. My first stop was Davis Hyundai in Ewing. The very night before the sales woman told me they had my exact car, with my exact specifications in stock and would gladly sell it to me at my price point. When my father and I showed up we were given a very unhelpful salesman who informed me that they had zero Elantra’s on the entire lot. Infuriated that we had just been lied to so that we would visit Davis Hyundai we left. I soon came to realize that this was the norm among the local Hyundai dealers. That is, except for Lester Glenn. They are the true exception to the rule. Because Ron was so sincere and honest with me up front I called him back and he not only gave me and actual “out the door” price on an Elantra and a Sonota but he broke down each piece of the final cost so I understood exactly how he came up with his final number. I tried to contain my excitement because I had been promised things from other dealerships before. Any worry that I might have had was soon washed away when I visited the Lester Glenn the next morning. Ron had told me to ask for Jimmy Connell so that I could test drive the Sonota and decide if I wanted that over the Elantra. I was expecting the typical cocky, slimy salesman but Jimmy was the complete opposite. I know salesman try to come off as nice but Jimmy truly was a nice guy. He was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle and was not pushy at all. He truly enjoys what he does and strives to make the car buying experience as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend asking for Jimmy Connell if you plan on test driving a new vehicle. Soon it came time for the final part of the car buying process. I was applying for a loan and about to sign on the dotted line. I thought; hear it comes, the bait and switch. Here is where they tack on all the hidden fees. Wrong again. The transaction couldn’t have been more transparent. The final price was what Ron had promised me right down to the dollar. And Brian Pataky from the financing department was just as pleasant as both Ron and Jimmy. Brian made sure to get me the best financing option that he could. I’m not sure how much incentive they have to push Hyundai financing over the other banks but he was more than happy to sign me up through PNC Bank with a lower APR than what Hyundai was offering. Considering my circumstances of having to buy a new car in less than 3 weeks and thought of dealing with the slimiest of the slimy salesman out there, I feel truly lucky to have stumbled across Lester Glenn. Sure they made money on the transaction. Hundreds I’m sure. But they were honest with me from the beginning and gave what I thought was a fair price. And most importantly they stayed true to their word. I could not have asked for anything more. More
My husband and I were referred to Lester Glenn in Toms River by friends of ours. They all seemed very well satisfied with the dealership, so we took their advice. It was a wise choice. We were immediat River by friends of ours. They all seemed very well satisfied with the dealership, so we took their advice. It was a wise choice. We were immediately greeted by our sales consultant, Sam Fowler, who was both attentive, courteous and patient. I do want to emphasize the word patient, because I do ask a lot of questions. We pretty much had decided to lease a Sonata before we arrived. However, I wasn't sure if I should get an SE or the Limited, but soon decided on the Limited, since I definitely wanted leather seats and the 8-way power driver seat. Then, I couldn't make up my mind regarding the color. I always loved radiant silver, and probably would have taken that color, even though I was seriously considering the pearl white. Just as I was beginning to think that I just couldn't decide, enter Jay Greenberg, the Sales Manager. He simply said they were preparing a new Sonata for the showroom, and he thought I would love it. Needless to say, I was curious as to what the color would be. Well, when we saw the iridescent silver blue Sonata, we both fell in love with it. I did see it on the lot, but since I was fixated on the silver, I didn't pay it too much attention. Anyway, we immediately were won over. The rest is history. Sam Fowler was wonderful, as he explained all the features of the car, taking extra care to program our phones with Blue Tooth, and explained features in the quick manual. Jay Greenberg was a perfect gentleman also, and gave us a fair deal on the 36 month lease that we wanted. All in all, we were very happy with Sam Fowler, Jay Greenberg and Sherif, who detailed the paperwork for us. We would definitely recommend Lester Glenn in Toms River! More

We went to Lester Glenn in a last ditch effort especially after having such horrible experiences with Pine Belt (which i do not recommend unless you want to be swindled, and Freehold Hyundai where they don't after having such horrible experiences with Pine Belt (which i do not recommend unless you want to be swindled, and Freehold Hyundai where they don't care about the customer). We had only just pulled up when Frank A. greeted us right away, which was very different from other dealerships i have experienced. He was highly knowledgeable, and personable as well. We explained to him our other experiences with cosigners and problems with bank loans, etc. he was understanding and was able to accommodate us easily. He took us to two storage facilities to show us the specific car we wanted (2012 Hyundai elantra). They found us exactly what we were looking for and didn't try to "sell us" the car. They understood that the cosigner lived in NY and were able to accomplish most of the credit and other information over the phone. When it came to financing the gentleman was great as well he explained everything and didn't "force" it upon us. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone, it was a great environment (friendly, clean, etc.) I highly recommend going in to see Frank A. because as a person and salesman he has been the best i have seen, he does get to know you on the personal level. My husband and I contacted 21 different Hyundai dealers (19 in NJ, one in Brooklyn and one in PA) in our search for a new Elantra GLS. One dealer just a few miles from our home guaranteed us that they'd m (19 in NJ, one in Brooklyn and one in PA) in our search for a new Elantra GLS. One dealer just a few miles from our home guaranteed us that they'd match our lowest quote, which was from Lester Glenn, so we approached them with it one Friday evening. They immediately balked at their 'guarantee,' claiming that Lester Glenn had a $4000 package of dealer-installed options that they forced you to purchase, and so because of that they were unwilling to match their quote. We were skeptical of this claim, as we hadn't read anything about a $4000 package on dealerrater.com, so we decided to go to Lester Glenn the following week to see for ourselves. As we suspected, the previous dealer was full of bologna and couldn't have been more wrong. All three of our contacts at Lester Glenn -- Justin, Brian and especially Casey -- were warm, open, honest and friendly. Not only did they stick to the quote we had agreed on over the phone, but the particular car I ended up purchasing came with an auto-dimming mirror and floormats -- an additional $350 worth of accessories that they threw in at NO EXTRA COST because we had made the trip to Toms River all the way from Bridgewater. And as if that weren't enough, I got the color I wanted -- indigo blue, which I was told by several dealers (including the 'full of bologna' dealer) was the absolute hardest color to get. When all was said and done, we got an amazing deal on an amazing car by working with amazing people who went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied (Casey even stayed with me for a few more minutes after the purchase was done, so that he could sync the car's bluetooth with my phone for me). A few hours later, I decided to call the 'full of bologna' dealer to set the record straight. I told them about my experience with Lester Glenn, including the low price we were given, the $350 add-ons that were thrown in for free, and the fact that they had my beautiful indigo blue in stock. The employee's reaction? 'And this was a 2012 GLS?? With automatic transmission? And the preferred package?? Wow. I'd take that deal all day. That's a great deal' After hearing that from a competitor dealer...what more is there to say?? More
