Refreshing. My first visit to a Subaru dealer years ago was intimidating. Although I wanted to buy a Subaru, the dealer turned me off. I went to Honda where I had My first visit to a Subaru dealer years ago was intimidating. Although I wanted to buy a Subaru, the dealer turned me off. I went to Honda where I had friends. My friends no longer work for Honda, and the CRV isn't what it used to be. Costco made this arrangement with car dealers to due negotiating up front before a customer even gets to the dealer. That removes most of the pressure and intimidation. Ann Marie treated us like a friend, willing to help us find what we wanted. We knew what we wanted before we walked in. No one had it on the lot. Ann found us something that looked similar so we could say yes or no on the color. She did that even though it was raining and inconvenient for her. It wasn't necessary for the deal, but it did demonstrate the extent she would go to make a customer feel welcome. One thing we did not like was the extreme pressure to buy additional warrantees. That was not by a salesman, it was the finance officer. We felt it was excessive. More

Mark accompanied me in driving the vehicle and showing me the bells and whistles and thoroughly explained the purchasing process. Ron was kind enough to let me take the vehicle home for the night to get used to driving it and I am extremely appreciative that he did. I instantly fell in love with the car and called the next morning to find out how to make it mine! I met with Pat, the finance manager the next day and he went over the necessary contracts and financial agreements and, in addition, gave me information about the excellent service package Subaru offers which I decided to purchase.
