Dropped car off on a Fri AM for warranty repairs . Expected to get it back around 5 pm on the same day. Late Fri I was told that my car would not be finished until Sat. In spite of me calling 4 different times, to check on status while I stayed home all day Sat. waiting for a call to pick up my car, I was not told u til 4 pm Sat that the car was leaking oil and they wanted to keep it until Monday. While I appreciate their concern and the work that was done and the car wash, I was irritated by the lack of information I received. Yes, I had a loner car but I am unhappy about the lack of timely info I received. More
My family and I were out of town in Carlsbad and had to drop in unannounced. This service department bent over backwards to fix our problem. Tire rotation service required. Received call 2 new tires needed and cost $600. Approved service then received another call recommending alignment for an additional $220. Picked up my car which appeared unwashed (smudged windshield with visible dead bug), blue streak on right side of car and bent front license plate?! When I purchased my Lexus, I was told service exceeds all, told of all the great benefits including car wash. So far my experience with Lexus services have been extremely unorganized, passed around, unclear all with tons of excuses. More
