We have been maintenance servicing (on schedule) soley at Lexus of Ann Arbor....we have never had a mechanical problem with any of the cars.....ever ! We have watched the service dept. go through changes ..both in process and in personnel ....I can say , as of this writing (july. 2015) this is the best customer related operation of this dept. A pleasant service experience My wife and I had just purchased a used vehicle from Lexus of Ann Arbor before the 4th of July weekend. The vehicle itself had a lot of miles on it, My wife and I had just purchased a used vehicle from Lexus of Ann Arbor before the 4th of July weekend. The vehicle itself had a lot of miles on it, but being true to Lexus form you couldn't tell by driving it. We took it on a test drive and loved it. We bought it that very day. However later in the same day our excitement had turned to concern, since we noticed a loud scraping sound emanating from underneath the rear passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was not covered under warranty so we were worried. Being the 4th of July weekend everybody was off. I used their online appointment scheduler to schedule and appointment and in the mean time searched discussion forums on the internet to find out if other owners had experienced the same problems. It turned out that they did. I noted their corrective actions and on the day of my appointment shared it with the service staff. Chuck Kelley was the gentleman that completed the paperwork for servicing the vehicle. He listened closely and took notes as I described the problem and also what i had found based on my internet research. Once everything was noted I waited in their wi-fi equipped lounge. The repair was quick and it turned out that the problem had been what I had read about on the online discussion forums. They didn't even charge me for the repair. Very quick, courteous and professional sales and service staff. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others based on my experience. More

Friendly and went the extra mile I got off work a little earlier than expected and called to see if I could get in for an oil change. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GREEDY JERKS STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! These guys are totally dishonest. Brought my vehicle into these guys because there isn't a really close a STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! These guys are totally dishonest. Brought my vehicle into these guys because there isn't a really close alternative to have them fix my window which broke half way down. They fixed it. But then, after i drove home, i noticed that the driver side door wouldn't lock and wouldn't recognize my key. This was fine before. After window repair, now it's broken. Sounds pretty much like an open and shut case that whatever they did caused the problem. Yet they charged me $200 to replace a wire and wouldn't let me take my car while i talked to corporate. They were extremely rude about the whole thing. This has pretty much led me not to purchase a Lexus at all in the future given my experience--how can corporate let this stuff keep going on? My friends have had similar experiences and have complained to corporate as well, so they know about the problems and yet have not put the hammer to these idiots. That's ok, maybe it's time for a Mercedes anyways. More
