Hmm. This is difficult to decipher. I had an excellent service visit with Arlington Lexus, and was excited to receive their invitation to the 2009 Customer Appreciation Service Clinic, even if I knew it w service visit with Arlington Lexus, and was excited to receive their invitation to the 2009 Customer Appreciation Service Clinic, even if I knew it was a sales gimmick. The problem is that the flyer advertising and inviting me to join them was a 1950s sexist and chauvanist advertising piece- offering me, a woman they listed by my very female name, a choice of a gift card to one of two men's clothiers. This signalled to me that perhaps Arlington is not ready for the (elightened) female Lexus SUV owner. If, in mailing out a personal flyer to each customer, Arlington Lexus is catering to men only, what will happen the next time, I, a female owner, shows up there. Will it be an oil change experience where they try and convince me to change the "whoseitwhatsitcalled" because of my gender?Do I need to bring my law degree with me to validate my existence ? maybe I need a coupon for a woman's store- would rather have had a gender-neutral restaurant gift certificate anyway. Scary thought- time to change dealerships. More
The experience was humiliating in a nut-shell. The sales people display condescending manners and downright making derogatory comments and racial remarks on customers. I would strongly not even visit this d people display condescending manners and downright making derogatory comments and racial remarks on customers. I would strongly not even visit this dealer or approach any sales folk. One of the worst experiences , I ever had during 5th car purchase. At the begining, the sales man while logging my customer data in the computer , he forced me to make a call from cellphone to just ensure if I am giving the correct number. Downright Dirty behavior 2.During negotiation, he was clearly saying I have no understanding and call me stupid and lack comprehension. This sales person was highly dogmatic with a subconscious mind sending signals and body language that was clearly condescending and demeaning. His language was highly loaded with racial intonations. I strongly recommend him to be transferred from sales. 3. The way this sales men approach women is infuriating. He dress poorly. comes his slack and lazy tone. but quickly gets irritated and doesnt display good manners, effective tone and language skills to interact with fairer sex.He was rude. 4. After you move, they gang to your back ( 3 sales people) like high school kids and keep laughing . What kind of manager is steve to allow this to happen. Is there no decency , sense of courtesy in this country . Is this how you were trained by Lexus. It is not above the money. I strongly feel this entire team needs orientation and training to behave civic and then some sales basics to retain the brand name and integrity of Lexus. In general, if you want to be treated like normal people. Please avoid this LEXUS dealer in Palantine. when you are undergoing a 40K sales. The only things these wretches offer is you humiliation and racially condescending behavior. My kind feedback to Lexus management. This dealership is the worst of all I had dealt with More
Went in for an oil change on my rx300. My friend told me to mark the oil filter since it is in a very difficult place to get at to change. Once the I got my car back after the oil and filter change I notice to mark the oil filter since it is in a very difficult place to get at to change. Once the I got my car back after the oil and filter change I noticed the paint mark I had put on the filter was still there. When confronted the guy in service that did the oil change said he was too busy and forgot to get to the filter. At this point, how would I even know the oil was changed. Would not recommend this dealer for service. More
