This Dealership has a nice facility and employees are nice and helpful when you are there is person. This probably is due to the fact of just trying to make a dollar. I purchased my vehicle and was on my way, leaving the dealership a happy customer...or so I thought. Then the problems start, I was given 20 day temporary tags for the vehicle. I call a few days before the tags were to expire and employees couldn't provide a clear answer to when I will receive my permanent tags. (The dealer insists their policy and procedure is to have the customer pay tags, taxes and title... and they will process this through a third party). I spoke to the Finance Manager and he gives the run around with no clear answers to when my tags will be provided, He then promises me a call back the following day. Sure enough NO call back. Then proceed to call again and he must be screening calls because he will not respond to messages or answer the phone, I then call and speak to his Manager/Boss, He also cannot give a clear answer to when I would receive my tags and promises he will get to the bottom of what is going on and call me the following day by 10:00am. Once again no call back! In the meantime I called the DMV myself to find out my tags had been processed. So now on a friday evening I call the dealer to see what they have to say, I get the Salesman on the phone, He continually says that he not sure of the details with my tags because the people from the accounting department are not there and will not be back until monday. (I just wanted to know where my tags have been mailed to, me or the dealer...since the DMV was unable to provide that info) So the Salesman promises a call back to me on Monday once he can speak to someone in accounting. Once again no Call back! I received my tags within the next 2 days and was so relieved I never have to speak to the people affiliated with this dealer again! These people do not work to the world class service that their hold information suggests on their phone system. Total lack of professionalism and Integrity! They received their money through a sale and got another check on their sale board! After my experience I know that is all I was! More

I had an unforeseen and a very significant problem with the used Infiniti that I purchased from the dealership. Fortunately, this story has a happy ending. As soon as the problem was understood, Wayne Gr the used Infiniti that I purchased from the dealership. Fortunately, this story has a happy ending. As soon as the problem was understood, Wayne Gross stepped into action by flatbedding me a new Lexus loaner and taking back the Inifiniti. No questions asked. Lexus of Edison next worked with me to amicably resolve the situation by agreeing to change out the car for a nearly new certified preowned Lexus in a fair transaction.The process took some time while we found the right vehicle and agreed on an equitable solution. However, during the entire time I was in a new loaner Lexus and I was in regular phone and email communication with Paul Conway who worked with me to resolve the matter. Additionally, my salesperson Jason Toth remained involved until the keys to the certified preowned Lexus I had chosen were in my hands and even after with follow up calls to make sure I liked my new ride. What initially began as a very stressful and difficult situation was handled and resolved by Lexus of Edison as best as could be hoped and I am a satisfied customer who can recommend the dealership to other potential buyers. We purchased a 2012 Certified Pre Owned Lexus RX350 from Lexus of Edison in September 2013. Brian Hennelly was our salesperson. We arrived from over an hour away late one very busy Saturday night, waited an hour and was assigned Brian. Brian worked with us to find a gently used CPO RX. From the beginning we found Brian to be pleasant, patient, fair and honest. For example, one vehicle had a crack in the windshield that I missed. Brian proactively pointed this out. Brian helped us find a great vehicle, and we closed the deal that evening, around midnight. Though Brian was new, we found him to be very knowledgeable and provided great customer service. Our vehicle needed some followup repairs and we opted to add remote start, so the vehicle needed to be in the shop a few days. Brian offered to bring the vehicle down to our home a week later. He did so and spent time with me to show me how to operate the vehicle. We visited several Lexus dealerships in the area prior to Lexus at Edison and found the dealership to be the best in the area. We would purchase from Lexus of Edison and with Brian again! More

He even mapped out a nice route for the test drive, allowing us to experience the vehicle's performance in varying road conditions. Yury stayed with us right through delivery of our CPO vehicle, taking the time to show us all of the vehicle's features. Daniel Mercado very efficiently handled the transaction. He too was very pleasant and cordial, taking time to explain the various options available without pressure. Ed Cappiello called us a few days after the sale to check and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. He also reminded us that his business card was in the folder with the owner's manuals in the glove box, just in case we had any questions or concerns. Ed also coordinated a follow up service visit with service advisor Donna Coleman. The service trip was very efficient as Donna continued the Lexus of Edison pattern of courteous and efficient service. All in all, as first time Lexus customers, our experience at Lexus of Edison was very positive. We recommend this dealership without hesitation. More
I came in to make an offer on a Pre-Owned Lexus ES350 - the Sales Manager, Robert, obviously thought my offer was too low so as soon as he sat with me he began to show me on a piece of paper which he print the Sales Manager, Robert, obviously thought my offer was too low so as soon as he sat with me he began to show me on a piece of paper which he printed out prior to sitting with me, a list of 50 similar cars that are on sale in the area and showed that the car I wanted was priced the lowest (I pointed out that the car I want also had the highest mileage, therefore the lower price point). I said that the car I was interested in also said "Certified Pre Owned" on their website, but when I got to the showroom, the car was no longer "certified". Then Robert started to get agitated with me and told me that he wasn't going to have this car looked at "tomorrow morning" when paid customers would be at the garage. Alluding that I wasn't a paying customer and that the red alert lights in the Lexus I was interested in were not a big issue; but I should still buy the car "tonight". Talk about typical used car salesman-like demeanor. I felt my interaction with this man was abrasive, and he is very aggressive. Be prepared when you go in this place to be pushed around by their Sales Manager, Robert. This was not the experience I went in there for and I never expected this treatment from a Lexus dealership - especially not their Sales Manager. This man does not like women who actually are smart and know what they are talking about. I still would have negotiated with him further but his disrespectful style and intimidation tactics completely turned me off. Classy women, beware. More
