Originally there was a recall of my Lexus ES 350 to change the dashboard out because it became gummy and melted. A new dashboard was replaced free of charge and within a year it also became gummy and g change the dashboard out because it became gummy and melted. A new dashboard was replaced free of charge and within a year it also became gummy and gluey. Called Lexus about the problem and neither Lexus Of Tampa Bay corporate would honor a new dashboard. So they basically replaced one bad part with another. Went in to have my tires rotated and one of their employees left the Lugnuts off of the front tire, luckily no one in my family was injured and the car had to be towed back to the dealership four lug replacement. They don’t stand behind their product and they certainly aren’t in the category of elite. More

The car buying experience was very good for two weeks. Then a minor problem came up with the new RX350. The doors would not lock or unlock this went on for a day and a half. I live in Port Charlottes and I mentioned that fact to Eddie and that it would not be feasible to drive to Tampa for service on the car. He said not to worry I could get it serviced at any Toyota dealer. I said that is great there is one in Venice about 25 minutes away. When the situation with the doors not locking or unlocking yesterday I called the Toyota dealership in Venice to see when I could bring it in for service. They said they would have to charge me for service I said the car is only two weeks old. They replied we are a Toyota not Lexus dealership. I was very unhappy with the situation. I called the National Lexus number and they confirmed that fact but there was a reimbursement process . I politely declined. I called Scanlon Lexus in Ft Myers and made an appointment for next Tuesday service. Everything will turn out ok I think I solved the problem my key fob I think had a bad battery so zi changed this morning and the the car has been locking and unlocking just fine all day. I anticipate that I will be able to call Scanlon Lexus on Monday morning and cancel the service appointment on Tuesday. Final thought is that salesmen should make sure they have the facts straight before they reassure customers on anything that will affect customers continuing satisfaction with the Lexus brand . I will be going to Scanlon for service on the RX350, but it is over an hour travel time when the Toyota dealer was 25 minutes Robert Werschky More
This is my first Lexus, went in for a smaller Suv that I saw on line, it was less expensive than what I purchased, I met John our sales person, he listened to what I had in mind in color and equipment an saw on line, it was less expensive than what I purchased, I met John our sales person, he listened to what I had in mind in color and equipment and the rest is history, he had everything on my list checked. John is a guy that knows his stuff and did a great job delivering. I hope to enjoy this car for a long time. More
