When I called Koon's Lexus of Wilmington to inquire about a vehicle I had seen online, I was fortunate to be connected to Doug Horst who treated me wi When I called Koon's Lexus of Wilmington to inquire about a vehicle I had seen online, I was fortunate to be connected to Doug Horst who treated me with the utmost courtesy. I, therefore, traveled sixty-five miles to the dealership to view their pre-owned inventory which is housed in a beautiful indoor showroom. I am a single woman shopping on my own for a car, and there was never a moment of doubt from Doug that I was capable of doing so. There was never a moment of pressure from Doug, but only questions to learn of my wants and needs regarding a possible purchase. I was interested in a Lexus RX350 and had done extensive research online which led me to Koon's in the first place. Their prices were so much better than in my area. I did not purchase on the first day because the selection was such that I could only narrow it down to three. I returned a few days later having narrowed it down to two. Doug did not try to influence my decision, but had, through the course of our two meetings, helped me in the overall process of selecting the car that would best suit me. I need to take my time so I don't get swindled into a bad deal. If your salesman is Doug, forget this thought ever existed, and sit in his office with a peace of mind. Doug is an honest, forward, and dedicated salesman. I even dislike using the word salesman because of the negative connotation associated with it. Doug made me feel like I was buying a car from my uncle. He is extremely knowledgable about the vehicles, as well as different buying/leasing options. We sat down and he laid everything out in plain language, precisely noting exactly how much each option would cost. I felt zero pressure to make any decision. He made the process really easy, and I confidently left with what I think is the best deal I could have possibly gotten on my 2016 NX lease. I haven't looked back for a second. Hands down, best car buying experience I have ever had. Buy from Doug! More
