Phrases like "you just have to understand";"that's not our policy"; or "I'm sorry, but we can't do that" have become the norm and are the baseline for what many businesses defines as good customer service. I have firsthand experience with that because I strayed from a Lexus to a Teutonic luxury brand, but the manufacturer's gestapo-like attitude for dealing with a well-known problem with their car drove me back. I came back to Lexus of Orlando and are now enjoying my fifth purchase from them. Today I picked up my vehicle after it had been in service for a lot of cosmetic (warranty) work. When I dropped the car off I met with Steven and Allen and told them what I wanted done, hopefully all under warranty. But today when Steven pulled my car up it looked brand new inside and out. They did much more work than I expected them to do, but I shouldn't be suprised. That has been the Lexus of Orlando way for the last 25 years. They do a wonderful job of selecting, training and empowering talented people to interface with and satisfy their most valuable assets, their customers. At any moment we felt pressured to purchase by Kim or Carlos Curet (Sales Manager). We ended up purchasing a pre-owned Lexus 350. The whole process went very smooth and we got a good deal.
