I am truly sorry we came up short in your quest to purchase a new Highlander. We do our best to communicate the product availability information we get from Toyota to our customers. Over the past 18 months, the availability of Highlander hybrids has been diminished by two factors: limited battery production, and the redirection of allocated batteries to Sienna. Complicating matters further, the Limited and Platinum model touch screens built in Southeast Asia were extremely rare. In some instances, these models were taking 6 to 9 months to arrive. The information David gave you was the absolute truth as communicated to us by Toyota. Maybe I was lucky, but I was able to order one through Smartpath a day later and having it in hand a month later after terminating my deposit with you. They also had several other hybrids available. While there may be shortages of Limited and Platinum as you suggest, I had several other dealers contact me from MA and CT to purchase these more expensive options but stuck with Lia since I gave a deposit. These dealerships did not require a deposit and I lost several opportunities to buy from someone else from being strung along from David and your dealership. Will not be using LIA ever again.

I apologize for the frustrating process in purchasing a new vehicle. The information you were given was accurate when it was given to you. We arranged a dealer trade with another Toyota Dealership on an incoming unit. When the vehicle arrived they disregarded the arrangement and sold it to one of their customers. So you guys base your customers cars and time on word of mouth trades. This is a risk business practice and you changed my car twice?????i don't think you know the whole story or your team Riley and Andre are lieing to you. I've talked to many dealerships about this. You don't do this kind of business in the coronavirus era, Before covid it was common but now with 8weeks to get a car dealerships dont do this. The other "dealership" you refer to has a different story and through you right under the bus.The one in New Hampshire!
