Poor Customer Service, Not concerned with having return cust Where to begin??? Purchase of this car was on 6/26/2017. Found car I was interested in on either Carfax.com or Truecar,com, cant remember which. Eithe Where to begin??? Purchase of this car was on 6/26/2017. Found car I was interested in on either Carfax.com or Truecar,com, cant remember which. Either way I live in Yuma, Az and the dealership that had the vehicle is located in Phoenix, az, 2 1/2 hours drive away. I contacted the dealership & inquired about the vehicle and it was still available so I told them that I would be making the trip there after work. By time I arrived at the dealership at around 830pm or so, the vehicle was sitting out front of the dealership just waiting for paperwork to be completed & I can take possession of it. first problem was they tried to give me hassle on the price I saw the car advertised for saying that it was an error, and that they would eventually still honor it to an extent because of the distance I had traveled, had it not been for that, they would have called and told me the advertised price was wrong. Next problem was as follows, went out to look at the car which appeared to be fairly clean but mind yo it was totally dark out so I could only see so much and what I was able to see (engine & some of the interior) were clean. I was told that while we were inside doing paper work that the car would go to have rest of detailing completed. WELL, that didn't happen. Next day once home, I noticed stains on seats, headliner & other places. In fact, the trunk space was dirty & had mud spots inside as if someone had been hauling mud & not to mention some black sticky tar like substance in there as well. lets talk about the tint, which I didn't notice till the next day as well, the tint is all scratched up & damaged in places. Why not have just removed the tint all together or just replaced it? I also went into this dealership with a check from my banking institution but for what ever reason, they ran my credit putting a hard inquiry on my credit report, there was no need for that seeing as I had a blank check to purchase the car right out. Another issue I had was that after 2 days of having this car, it was having problems starting. I called dealership and spoke to the salesman Chris L. who helped me out only to be told that its probably a battery issue and that he would see if there was something that he could do. well I got a call back from him first informing me that his return call never happened if asked but he basically told me that there was nothing that this dealership was willing to do for me and to start with buying a battery. If that was the problem, he would refund me the money from his own pocket seeing as the dealership didn't want to do anything about it. well, I spent out of my pocket for a new battery for a car from Liberty Buick that I just purchased 2 days early and got no type of reimbursement for having to do so. it seems that this car was not property prepped for resale from these guys what so ever. Thankfully the car has been running well and I haven't had any type of mechanical problems. My message to you all looking at doing business with these people, make sure they have fulfilled all of their responsibilities and have not taken any shortcuts. More
