Overall terrible people. Agree with previous post about false friendliness with terms such as "pal", "buddy", etc. We were promised to be able to return our car here though not originally leased at thi false friendliness with terms such as "pal", "buddy", etc. We were promised to be able to return our car here though not originally leased at this dealership, made am appointment, arrived and were turned away. I was with my wife who was 8 months pregnant at time, and not only were we shouted at, treated like disabled children and given no basic human courtesy, the refused to take the car back even though we had the appointment and we had confirmed with corporate that they would have to take the car. They even went to far as to insinuate we were lying about making an appointment. We believe it was because the month before, the evaluated the car for the end of lease buy-out option and noticed a few things that would make the car difficult to sell from their lot. They claimed there was no room, but when we had made the appointment only hours before there was enough room? We dealt with reg floor salesman, manager and the head/owner of the dealership. All were nasty to my wife and myself Never using them again. Tl;dr Liberypty Hyundai salespeople and managers are xxxxxxxx. Never use this dealership, even if your first born sons life depended on it. They would screw you over anyway. My trip to this dealership was a waste of my time. The sales person was new and had limited knowledge of the product, the sales promotions, and the financing. When I entered the store, there was another sales person was new and had limited knowledge of the product, the sales promotions, and the financing. When I entered the store, there was another women complaining about the fact that they did not discount the sticker price of the car! I should have spoke with her and I wouldn't have had wasted 2 and a half hours of my time! Fortunately, I found a better dealership that worked with me on the price, and the promotions and we were able to make and close the deal in under 2 hours. Your dealership was unable to even give me the bottom line of the price on the car. I had to try to back it out of the financed figures. I would never recommend this dealership and please take me off your email list. Thanks More
I sent a internet inquiry and quickly received email confirmation from Eddie Saint Preux. Shorty after Gabriella reached me via phone and setup a appointment for later that day. I arrived at the dealer and was treated by one smiling employee after another. I then met Gabriella and we discussed the car of my interest. A test drive was next and Gabriella was very informative and had all the answers. From here on it was negotiation time and my dealings with a sales manager that I am sorry I forgot their name, was as expected, polite and a good give and take. I am especially appreciative for Eddie the internet manager getting involved at the most crucial time and helping get the deal over the finish line. Delivery was conducted by Gabriella and was nothing short of terrific. Very impressed with Gabriella and EVERYONE I dealt with. All have great customer service skills. It was very nice to have a salesperson (Gabriella) approach us with a smile when we entered the dealership. Sometimes, when you venture into a showroom, there are a group of sales people who manage t approach us with a smile when we entered the dealership. Sometimes, when you venture into a showroom, there are a group of sales people who manage to not make eye contact! We've had this experience at several other dealerships...this is not the case at Liberty Hyundai. She asked us what we were interested in and reviewed several options for us...new or slightly used vehicles. She told us about what was available in the "used" category...including pricing, options and colors. Then she mentioned that she saw us looking at a red Elantra on the floor and did we want to take a better look at it. We did and then she offered us a test drive in a similar model. We liked the car and then she proceeded to review trade in and monthly payment options. We wound up with a very good deal...a nice tradein on our 2011 Sonata and the same monthly payments that we were currently making on that car. Best of all....the price she told us INCLUDED EVERYTHING! Some dealers talk about a certain payment and then as you are about to sign on the dotted line...they tell you about FOB costs, dealer "prep" charges, sales tax, etc., etc. If you want a great car with a fair price...go to Liberty Hyundai of Mahwah!!! I was very concerned with going to a car dealership due to the "bad rap" that these places have. A friend of mine mentioned that I should try it out and see if they are able to work with me and what I wanted. So I gave it a shot. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by very friendly employees always with a smile. I met Gabriella W. who was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. I'm happy to say that I walked into Liberty Hyundai knowing exactly what I wanted in a lease and I left with exactly what I wanted in a lease. Gabriella W. was very helpful in getting me a great deal that I could not refuse. Over all my experience there was exceptional. I would recommend this dealer to others, especially to go see Gabby! I took my 2011 Hyundai Genesis in for service. I was greeted promptly by Mike at exactly when my appointment called for. He was very polite and positive. They could have easily sold me new break pads. Instead Mike said they are fine for now. The overall experience was "Truly Outstanding". More
I just purchased a 2013 Hyundai Tucson from Liberty Hyundai. Ryan in sales was very easy to work with. He didn't pressure me into the sale. I highly recommend with working with Ryan in the future. Additionally, Gregg in finance made the process very easy. He was very efficient and honest during the purchasing process. He did not try to bury any additional costs into the final price like the local competition. More
