In October 2011 I purchased a 2012 Camry SE that had just arrived on the lot 2 days earlier. James Koluboi had helped us buy a new 2009 Corrolla for my partner Eileen and I knew him from that experience. So, arrived on the lot 2 days earlier. So, I sought James out when I was ready for a new Camry and he did an oustanding job of getting me the best deal possible as well as making the whole experience totally enjoyable and smooth. The 2012 Camry SE was 'loaded', with the V6 engine, Nav System, JBL Audio System and had everything I could have wanted and I was delighted with the purchase. The nicest car I've ever owned. Unfortunately, 3 weeks ago, while stopped at a red light, I was hit severely from the rear by a drunk driver doing over 40 mph and making no attempt to stop. My car was knocked 10 ft. forward and into the rear of the car in front of me. The rear end of my car was demolished, and the front end badly damaged as well. The entire rear window was completely blown out backwards by the impact and the whole lower rear bumper was in a field some 30 feet behind me. Amazingly I was not severely injured, just some pain in my chest from the seat belt, but very stunned mentally. However, I did not hit my head or chest on the steering wheel or my knees on the dash. I later found that I had a fractured breast bone from the seat belt, and a bruise on my left shoulder, but no neck pain or other problems at all. I'm currently home recueperating under the care of my physician. The point of the story is simple...my 2012 Camry SE saved my life! Considering the force of the impact I absolutely believe that if the other driver had hit someone in a car that was not so well constructed as my Camry that someone could have been killed. So, in a way, I'm grateful that it happened to me and not someone else. So, the upside of this accident is that I had the damaged car towed to Liberty Toyota, because I knew that if the car was to be repaired, I wanted Toyota to do it. Immediately James K. and the entire Toyota team at Liberty jumped in and tried to help me in every way possible. I got a rental car right away and the manager of their Collision Center checked out the car right away and agreed to work with my insurance adjuster to make the best evaluation of the damage happen quickly and efficiently. The car was 'totaled' and thanks to the team at Liberty Toyota and Allstate, within 3 days of the accident I was in a new car! The great part of this was that James K. had the insight and sensetivity to know that, in terms of a new car, what I really wanted was my original 2012 Camry back! He knew how much I loved that car! So, without me asking him, he searched the surrounding Toyota dealerships and found the exact same car that I had just lost, down to the last option on the sticker! When I came to pick up my old license plates he asked "What do you think you would like for a new car?" I said "I'm not sure, lets go out to the lot and look." He said, "OK, but let me show you something first!" Then he showed me the new 2012 Camry, same color, same everything. I was extatic to put it mildly! I was ready to sign the papers right there, but James insisted that I drive it first, just to be sure. Needless to say I took the car home that night. I did not for a minute feel that this was a marketing or sales scheme of any sort and I will not forget what James did for me for a long time! I have not experienced that kind of insight and sensetivity before in a sales person. And I am immensly grateful to James K. and the whole team at Liberty Toyota for doing the uttmost to help me through a very difficult experience. The Camry literally saved my life and the guys at Liberty put the 'icing on the cake' with all that was done for me. Thanks James! And everyone at Liberty Toyota!
