I had Lexus GS 300 for quite some years. My intention was to get a newer Lexus model. When I met Tony at an event that I officiated (and he attended) and shared with him my inclination, he said that he works to get a newer Lexus model. I shall be honest - I have been a long time fan of the Japanese cars. My last three cars were Japanese. Yet when I experienced Lincoln MKS (with Ecoboost), I became an instant convert. That is completely Tony's accomplishment. He wasn't pushy; he just said that if I have a little time, I should stop by and take a look. After all, nobody will tell me later that I don't know what I am missing. Mr. Holmes' thinking was absolutely correct. Tony wants to get to know you and make a suggestion based on what you need rather than on any ulterior motives. The price negotiation was very reasonable and fair. I also did get a very fair value for my Lexus as a trade in. Their service department is outstanding too. The bottom line is: if you need a new vehicle, TONY HOLMES IS YOUR MAN. I have purchased several vehicles from this dealership over the past 11 years. The entire experience from start to finish has never been anything less that superb! Without going into detail, Chuck has gone out of his way to assist our family not only to get the correct vehicle at a very fair and competitive price but the after sale experience has perhaps been even more impressive and where Chuck has shone. Recently, we moved to Pennsylvania and during our transition we needed to capture some paperwork that was misplaced during our move and was required by the State Authorities in PA in order to transfer our vehicle. One call to Chuck and the necessary paperwork was forwarded to us and we received it the next day. Chuck knew that the likelihood of us purchasing another vehicle from Libertyville Lincoln Mercury was fairly far fetched but that did not stop him from offering his normal high degree of customer service. I will be forever indebted to him and when we move back to Illinois, he will be our dealer for new cars well into the future. In addition, and as further evidence of the after-care that this dealership provides, I would like to point out that Ed and Pat at the Quick Lube at this dealership, again like Chuck go well beyond the call of duty when it comes to providing service. I am a pretty low-maintenance kind of customer and typically would only be there for minor adjustments or or oil changes. However, because the demographic of the typical customer at this dealership is, well, getting on in age, it always impressed me the way that I saw Ed and Pat take painstaking care to ensure that these 'older' people were taken care of not only in the waiting room but, also their courteous, respectful manner when speaking with them. It was the kind of customer service that one would wish their mother could have at a car dealership. This is a very customer service oriented Dealership! More
