Responsive, transparent, professional operation with polish. I have leased a Lincoln and purchased a Ford through this World Class dealership and highly recommend you give them a chance too. They have polish. I have leased a Lincoln and purchased a Ford through this World Class dealership and highly recommend you give them a chance too. They have range beyond Lincolns and shared with me that they would be interested in working to find an alternative brand through auction or 3rd parties. More

This dealership is one you'll want to avoid if you expect any sort of customer support after the sale is done. We purchased a new vehicle and it was missing some of the owner's manuals. We were told time a any sort of customer support after the sale is done. We purchased a new vehicle and it was missing some of the owner's manuals. We were told time and time again they would mail them to us. 3 months later we still have received nothing. Last time I called to ask for status, I was yelled at for giving them a poor survey. Well, what do you expect when you don't help the customer after the sale? The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful pre-sale, but based on my personal treatment, it's all for show and nothing more. Once they have your money, don't expect any support whatsoever. Bottom line, if you must own a Lincoln, you'll be happier if you find another dealership to purchase it from. More
We just purchased our third car/truck from this dealer and have once again had a wonderful experience. This purchase was our first used vehicle and we still received the same top notch treatment as when and have once again had a wonderful experience. This purchase was our first used vehicle and we still received the same top notch treatment as when we purchased our new vehicles. We have been treated honestly and fairly for all our purchases. The main reasons we continue to come back to this dealer is the no pressure sales on the purchase/trade in and the excellent service in the service department. More
My wife and I ordered a new car (Black 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid 4WD VIN# 4M2CU39H58KJ09107) through Libertyville Lincoln Mercury on 3 March 2007. When ordering this vehicle we specifically asked wha Mariner Hybrid 4WD VIN# 4M2CU39H58KJ09107) through Libertyville Lincoln Mercury on 3 March 2007. When ordering this vehicle we specifically asked what would happen if we didn't buy the car for some unforeseen reason and they didn't answer the question, instead stating that I'm sure we won't have to worry about that. While we were provided a copy of the order worksheet that we signed, we were not provided a copy of the back of this document where allegedly it states that if we don't take deliver of the vehicle after having special ordered it that we will forfeit the money we put down as a down payment which was $1500, keeping in mind we asked this specific question and were told it was nothing to worry about. Along the course of the vehicle being built and delivered to the dealership, several things happened that made us not want to do business with this dealership anymore and we were pushed beyond our limits for dealing with this business when told we would have to come to pick up the vehicle earlier than expected. The car should have taken about six weeks from the order date to come in and we had a verbal agreement that they were honoring for the dealership to retain said vehicle on their lot for 30 days after arrival from the factory. We were informed on 13 April that the vehicle had arrived (in my mind one day early) and we would need to pick it up by 7 May. When I questioned why we were only being given three weeks to pick up the vehicle I was told by the sales representative that they didn't know the car was on their lot for seven days and that they were informing me as soon as they knew. We weren't prepared with sufficient financing by the date they required us to pick up the car (7 May 2007) and when I asked if we could pick it up on 15 May instead, I was told that no, I'd have to come in on 7 May. Then the sales representative said that she didn't work on the 7th and that I could therefore come in on 8 May to get the vehicle. I approached the sales representative yesterday (2 May 2007) and stated that I wasn't happy with how I'd been treated, didn't wish to take possession of the vehicle any longer and wanted my money back. I was then referred to the sales manager and was basically told that they keep a lawyer on retainer and that fighting me won't cost them anything, that I'm wasting my time and that they have no intention of returning my money to me. I said you have the ability to tear up the document I signed and he replied that he only works there and doesn't own the walls. I said there is an owner (Dan Marks) that owns the walls that is capable of doing that. His reply was that the owner wasn't willing to do that. We have since filed a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. More
When I was shopping for a car I was originally looking at Lincoln-Mercury products. I had the opportunity to visit several Lincoln-Mercury dealers, and I hope that my experience will be of assistance to car Lincoln-Mercury products. I had the opportunity to visit several Lincoln-Mercury dealers, and I hope that my experience will be of assistance to car buyers out there. I found this website very helpful when evaluating dealers, and I decided to contribute to it myself in the hopes that someone will be better educated. I have not bought a used car from this dealer nor have I used its service department. While there is nothing that makes this dealer stand out from the rest of its counterparts in the area, as a whole the sales department seems professional and competant. My salesperson owned a Mercury himself, and was very familiar with the products he sold. This store has a large inventory, and the prices that it quoted was pretty reasonable. The website of this dealer is pretty good, and you can look up its inventory online. Also, the internet sales manager is fairly quick a responding to e-mail questions. My final thought on this dealer is that it is certainly worth your time, and I had a positive impression of this store. More
