Great Sales Experience at Lindsay VW My whole experience was a pleasure. I did my homework on the price online through the US News Best Price Program which utilizes TrueCar. I got responses back from 3 dealers which were certified TrueCar dealers and Lindsay initially wasn't the best price of the initial email offers. However once I talked to Debbie Gonzalez from sales and sales manager Marc Weinstein we were able to agree on a great price on my new car. I have other friends who had good experiences with Lindsay VW and I can honestly say that I have too as well. The experience was easy going and no pressure at all. Sales manager Marc Weinstein was up front and honest about all pricing and fees and therefore made the process painless. I would recommend Lindsay to my friends and family. More

Unexpected High Quality Purchase Experience Started the process with a Lindsay VW website contact request. I turned in my VW TDI Sportwagen (which was the best car I ever owned), and considered Started the process with a Lindsay VW website contact request. I turned in my VW TDI Sportwagen (which was the best car I ever owned), and considered a Golf R with manual transmission. Both Raj and his team mate Alphonso were top notch! From beginning to end, the process was courteous, professional and not agressive. Larry in the finance department was just as courteous and professional. I had a late afternoon appointment that I needed to make, and the team ensured I was furnished with thorough explanations, a fair price and timely. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I am glad I chose Lindsay (including the superior and sustained excellence that I recieved from the Service department with my previous VW). If you are seeking a VW in the DC area--I recommend considering Lindsay as your first stop. More

Excellent purchase experience with Josh Pidek Once I selected my next car as a 2017 GTI I did an online search the color/options I wanted within 300 miles of me and contacted a few dealers that ha Once I selected my next car as a 2017 GTI I did an online search the color/options I wanted within 300 miles of me and contacted a few dealers that had an exact match. Josh Pidek of LindsayVW not only replied quickly to my inquiry but his price was very competitive right off the bat. There were no back and forth games, hidden costs or anything of that nature. Within a few days I decided to go with LindsayVW and planned my trip down 300 miles to get the car. A little nervous at first because things were going too well with Josh and I was thinking that by the time I arrived something would change, that was not the case. Even when I asked about changing to a different trim of the car he happily pulled up the other one in the delivery area so I could do a side by side comparison with no pressure of which one to pick or rushing me. I picked the one I wanted and then Josh went over every feature of the car, he was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain features in a friendly yet professional way. Then I proceeded to the finance manager Larry, who was also excellent. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need, he actually asked what I may be interested in first, listened and then offered to me only things I wanted with fair prices but again no pressure to purchase. I felt that I was able to make an informed decision rather than convinced I had to buy the extra services. I ended up purchasing a warranty and service plan which I was again very happy about. Lastly I will say Josh and Larry were a pleasure to talk with throughout the process, very friendly and it was clear they loved VWs, they didn't just sell them. It was a good testament in itself and I enjoyed the conversations with them during the process. Overall I couldn't have been happier with the service I received. I was treated very well, they were very professional, knowledgeable and they turned a process that is normally a pain into an enjoyable and painless one. I did end up driving 600 miles round trip in one day to get the car and it was well worth it over going to one of the more local dealers. I highly recommend them to any purchaser and it is worth the trip for what they have to offer. More
Amazing Experience! Mariya made the car buying experience amazing. From beginning to end she explained everything the Jetta had to offer, from the sunroof to the turbo to Mariya made the car buying experience amazing. From beginning to end she explained everything the Jetta had to offer, from the sunroof to the turbo to making sure I understood how to work the apple car play in the radio. You could tell is very passionate about her job and loves being there. She focused all her time to my needs in finding the right car for myself. This is my fourth car buying experience and thankfully this is the best one ever. If your in need of a great car, get to this dealership and ask for Mariya. Laura Salcedo was also involved in going over the loan process and choosing the right warrenty for the vehicle, she was also very nice and easy to work with. Dealing with both Mariya and Laura made this a great time :) More

Raj and Lindsay VW are awesome! Went in to browse their used car inventory. I was met by Raj in the parking lot who encouraged us to come inside to look so we didn't freeze to death. He spent the next few hours with us comparing cars until we were the last customers in the building. It was refreshing to have someone treat you like a human being instead of just another sale. He really listened to what was important to me instead of just trying to tell me what I wanted to hear. We ended up back at Lindsay VW after trying a few other places only to find a few of the cars we had previously looked at were sold. Raj really went above and beyond to help us find some more cars all over again. I honestly ended up with way nicer a car then I thought I could afford. He was respectful, patient, and very knowledgeable. If you're in the market for a new/used car, I can't recommend Raj and Lindsay VW enough. More
Poor Service Experience, Last visit! I own a 2008 Rabbit that I bought from another dealership in MD but live in VA. I've had two other bad service department experiences at Lindsay which I own a 2008 Rabbit that I bought from another dealership in MD but live in VA. I've had two other bad service department experiences at Lindsay which lead me to start going to another dealership service department but due to convenience I decided to bring my car back to Lindsay for this year's VA Emission and Safety checks. My wife was called by the service department and was told that the total cost would be $1900 however, the individual amounts did not equal $1900. When I called and spoke with the service department rep he told me another price and that he would work on the price for me. When I went to pick the car up 4 days later the amount for one of the items (throttle reset) was approx. $40 higher than what he told me over the phone. When I mention that, he walked away and a few minutes later came back with a different final bill. I was annoyed but decided to pay the almost $1700 for my car and get on with the rest of my day due to other plans. That evening we got in car after it sat for about 6 hours and the check engine light came on again. We drove straight to the dealership but the service department was closed. We called and were told by the operator that a service manager was still there but when we were transferred we got another gentleman who said no managers were available but he took a message for the manager to call us back and as of writing this review NO manager has ever called us back. We dropped the car off the following day and were told we would have to wait until Monday for someone to take a look at the car until another service department rep stepped up and suggested that it might just be a lose wire from the previous service and had someone take a look. After waiting for about 10 mins we were told that it was the same problem that was fixed just a few days earlier. Having other plans we decided to leave the car and were told that we would be called on Monday. My Wife waited all day for the call and no one from the dealership called all day so she decided to call at 4:30 and had to leave a message and wait for the service department rep to call her back. When she was finally called back the rep told her that the same item was not working and that they could clean it for around $120 and if that didn't work, that it would need to be replaced and the cost for that would be around $700 but they won't know until cleaning the part first. He then mentioned a new problem that would cost around $500 but said if it were his car he wouldn't take care of it at this time. We have been jerked around now four times by this service department’s obvious lack of respect for us and will never purchase a car from this dealership nor take our car here again for service. I would rather drive the 50 miles to the dealership the car was purchased from that values my business than Lindsay. More
