On Jan 23, 2024, a day before our visit, we called ahead to inquire about 2 Teslas we wished to test drive, and asked that they be charged before our visit. We were promised they would be fully charged, only to find on our arrival that neither had been charged—one of them so dead it had to be towed to two different charging stations (that was a fiasco in and of itself), and also could have damaged the battery. This was the first sign of their false and empty promises and should have clued us in to their lack of integrity. Thankfully, we had brought copies of their advertised prices that included the listed fees (sales tax, registration, title, etc). When the sales representative, Sebastian, tried to add an obscene $3000 to the advertised price, we had proof of their shadiness and greed. After we showed them the advertised papers, the sales manager, Julian, removed the other fees but insisted on including a S.W.A.T. security system fee of $395 for vehicle GPS tracking. This system wasn't even installed on the car at the time of purchase, but Sebastian promised we would receive a letter from KARR Security/Southwest Dealer Services, the security system installer, in a week with details on installation. Well, it's been 4 weeks and we've still not heard from KARR Security or Lithia Hyundai. We decided to cut through the lies and contacted KARR Security directly. Lo and behold, they confirmed they never received a work order for the promised security device installation. Attempts to reach Sebastian post-purchase have been met with silence. It's crystal clear that Lithia Hyundai of Fresno intended to pocket our hard-earned $395 without ever following through with delivering on their commitments. Furthermore, our investigation into other reviews has unveiled a disconcerting pattern—our experience was not an isolated incident. Lithia Hyundai of Fresno has a track record of systematically tacking on surprise fees and imposing charges for a S.W.A.T. security system that is either never installed or is provided with absolutely no information. This disturbing trend of deceptive practices exposes a consistent pattern of dishonesty within the dealership. It's evident that unsuspecting customers are regularly subjected to unwarranted fees and false promises, making our negative encounter just one instance in a series of unethical dealings. Do yourself a monumental favor and run in the opposite direction. Don't let their false charm lure you into this vortex of dishonesty and disrespect. We will be reporting their fraudulent practices to the State Attorney General and BBB. More
I had all my Financials in place, down payment ready. I was told the vehicle in question was set aside, and the VIP area was ready for me. Evidently the vehicle was sold the night before. Then they want an additional $1,300 for "lifetime oil change" and want you to finance with them at some crazy rate, even though you have a bank cashiers check for the agreed upon price. It says a lot about the dealership/sales people when the car you contractually agreed to buy has less than a gallon of gas in it... smh More
The service department at Lithia Hyundai of Fresno leaves much to be desired. Despite my repeated attempts to schedule maintenance for my Hyundai SUV due to a malfunctioning heater, I have been met with unav much to be desired. I'm out of state and bought a 2015 Jeep Wrangler from the dealership. These people never answer the phone, I have tried to call about a hundred times and you might get someone to answer the phone but more of dealership. I even called the general manage I think his name was Al, he never answered his phone or called me back, as a matter of fact his message says he's going to be gone until April, this is December. He has another contact on his VM, some lady, I left her a message she never called back. Their customer service is aweful! If it was a car that I could have bought from any place else I would have done it. Lithia Hyundai of Fresno is just the worst. More
The Salesman Tony was fine but the finance agent Angel was ridiculous. We have good credit and he came back with terrible numbers for financing. Then, after we left he called us at home with numbers very close to what we asked for originally but by that time we were very much done with the experience. It was a terrible day for us. 9/24/22, went into to look at a new electric car, but ended up test driving the Sonata. Angel was our point of contact. Angel in the financing team worked very hard to accommodate my financial needs. I was ready to leave as I was not happy with the first initial offerings. I was then offered everything I asked for and more. Since it was a Sunday, I would take my trade-in home and come back on Monday to pick up my new car. Since it had just come off the truck and still had the plastic wrapping‘s on it. I came in after five on Monday and the car was still sitting in the same spot. I parked it, not even completed. We were very unhappy that it was not ready for pick up. I was not offered a loaner I sat for 2 1/2 hours while it was being detailed, definitely did not want to sit at a dealership for that long on a Monday Joe did not follow up to make sure it was completed until we showed up. Very frustrating. We did ask for the manager, and he never arrived. Eli was very accommodating and kept checking with us while we were waiting upon waiting. There was a few other people very frustrated as well. The initial experience was great, but the follow-through of the salesman left the experience disheartening. More

I drop the car off on August 11th and today is September 18, 2023. 1) Car missing washer fluid lines under hood spray 2) rear bumper needs to be clip on argument 3) are third row eat missing screws 4) car leaking water in trunk. And didn’t get proper wash and clean on purchase. My service advisor eric Sierra is my point contact. He been worst than worst at communicating with body shop. I had to go to Lithia Hyundai service to check up on what happen, can’t never reach them or Jack Olmstead. Called and and text never call me back or text . What a shame. Also I reach out to sales manager Brad Craig, he wasn’t any help. I called left message for Moose Pohyar General Manager he failed to call me back. Sept 18 2023 noon came in speak to him and they wouldn’t let me speak to him cause he to buses. What a great leader and staffs . What they say is that for a great team you, need great leader 🤣. So up to data been Eric Sirra and jack Olmsted and GM . Fail to answer my question. Took you guys 39 day and going and for me coming in to get answer to get you to do your job, this is a customer service and business relationship, not whatever you fee like.
