Just moved to CA from MD. Worst Subaru experience ever. 6 hours waiting to glue a shield back onto the ambient air sensor. Tried to charge me $570.00!!! It's $190.00 just to pull into the place for them to take a look. Another $190.00 for the glue. And the audacity to try me for another $190.00 to take a look at a different issue. All of this after I told them the error code was P0072...ambient air sensor. Will never go back to this place. Service advisor, Christian, was useless. Had an 8:30 am appt. At 11am, had to ask him for a status update. Oh, the problem is the ambient ..something...I finished his sentence. They're at lunch now though.... ok. 2pm. Nothing from advisor. Went up and asked another for a status update. Comes back with my paperwork... I guess my 6 hours there were on their time, hence the $570.00.....Stay clear of this place. More
Took my 2008 Impreza in to have the oil pressure switch sensor replaced, oil change, and the tpms light checked. They took care of everything! sensor replaced, oil change, and the tpms light checked. They took care of everything! More

Christian was very helpful and courteous. The man who greeted me when I arrived was very kind. The technician worked hard to find my rattle in my car. Christian, my service advisor, was wonderful! I live in the Los Angeles area, but family lives in Central CA. As I was leaving to come home (over the MLK holiday) my 2014 Forester’s light panel came on- an the Los Angeles area, but family lives in Central CA. As I was leaving to come home (over the MLK holiday) my 2014 Forester’s light panel came on- and I mean ALL lighted icons- check engine, oil tempABS, traction control... I immediately pulled over and called Lithia. Christian was able to fit me into the schedule and about 5 hours later, and $1700 lighter in my pocket, I was on my way back home. . Now, some people would be upset that it took so long. I’m grateful that they had the parts and could fix it. Yes, it was costly, but it would have been costly regardless of where I would have ended up. Also, while I was waiting, I looked at a new Forester they had in the showroom. I was considering buying it but before I could, someone else bought it. I guess it wasn’t meant to be. If Lithia wasn’t 4 hours from my hone, they would be my dealer of choice. Thank you, team! The only issue I have is Subaru not wanting to take care of the excessive coping of the paint on my vehicle. The company is aware of the defect with the sun shine orange paint and is only willing to pay 1/2 of the excessive coping of the paint on my vehicle.
