Lochmandy Motor Sales is proud to be a part of the Michiana community since 1954. We began with the founding of Lochmandy Buick, by Michael Lochmandy, in 1954. A second dealership, Lochmandy Rambler, was founded in 1957. Dennis Lochmandy became the Operating Manager of Lochmandy Rambler in 1964, which he then purchased in 1967. The Dodge brand was added to the Lochmandy Rambler franchise in 1968 and GMC truck in 1978. Lochmandy Motor Sales and Lochmandy Buick merged in 1993 in order to become one dealership that offers its customers the largest variety and selection of new and used vehicles in Michiana. Lochmandy Motor Sales’ current site was built in 1995 and is home of one of the largest new car dealerships in Elkhart county. Lochmandy Motor Sales has a staff of over 100 people and sells over 1500 vehicles a year. Lochmandy Motor Sales is founded on the principle of a “Tradition of Caring”. This is the philosophy of treating the customer as you would want to be treated.

I've been a loyal customer for all of my vehicles needs since I purchased it brand new back in 2020 from your dealership. Every oil change, battery, repairs, etc all go through Lochmandy. There's been a few hiccups in the past with service and my vehicle, but nothing major. However, when my car was in for service a few weeks ago there was money stolen from the consul. I called and let the service department know and they said they would look at the cameras and let me know. It's been crickets since then. I did plan on purchasing a new Wrangler at some point this year but I'm not sure I want to keep my business with Lochmandy if they don't feel the need to contact me and let me know what's going on. I realize the entire service department isn't to blame because they didn't steal from me, but someone did. If I can't trust employees there to stay out of the personal storage areas in my vehicle then why would I continue to take my business there? I was told that they were most likely looking for my locking lugnut key. OK, thats fair. But I've kept in with my spare tire for four years. Also, even if they did look in the consul to find the key, that doesn't give them permission to take whatever is in there! Please know, money isn't everything, and I am not upset that I didn't get my $250 back. Keep it. Someone clearly needed it more than me. I'm upset because I've spent thousands of dollars with your company and was basically just brushed off. More

I had my 2021 Jeep towed into the service department last Tuesday morning, May 21. I was told that due to scheduled appointments, they were unsure if the tech would be able to get to it or not. The next morn Tuesday morning, May 21. I was told that due to scheduled appointments, they were unsure if the tech would be able to get to it or not. The next morning, I received a call stating the issue was a crack in the radiator with a cost to cure of over $2100.00. Work was authorized as being a single lady, I needed my vehicle back. The day I picked up my vehicle, I noticed the front light was out, which wasn't the case when the Jeep was delivered to the dealership. Not only did the service department not accept accountability, but the offered for me to buy the bulb and pay for another service call. I will not use Lochmandy again. Terrible experience. More

I took my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee in to diagnose and repair my A/C for not cooling. I knew it was an A/C refrigerant leak because I had it re-filled not long ago and was again not cooling. Lochmandy c repair my A/C for not cooling. I knew it was an A/C refrigerant leak because I had it re-filled not long ago and was again not cooling. Lochmandy charged me $300 to not find a leak, and said it would be another $2,200 more to investigate if I had a leak at the evaporator and fix it if it was leaking. $2,500 to possibly fix my A/C for a refrigerant leak seemed a bit ridiculous. I paid the $300 to get out of the dealer (without repair) before getting further robbed. Not impressed. More
