I brought the car in because I get free oil changes for life. I knew I had tire issues and asked that they check them as well as my brake pads. I did not have an appointment that day so I appreciated that life. I knew I had tire issues and asked that they check them as well as my brake pads. When they called me, they told.me that my one tire needed a plug and quoted me $40. He said the other tire had a leak too.close to the tire wall and recommended replacement. In addition, he said that I needed front and rear brake pads and rotor servicing and quoted me a very expensive quote.I didn't expect a cheap quote but I do my homework before I det things serviced.I know that I can buy brake pads for about $30 front and $30 rear..I can bring my car to Ice Cold Auto with my parts and they would charge me $150 for labor..totaling $215 as compared to Kia's quote of $600. I would never pay $40 for a tire plug..I went to a small mom.and pop tire place in Clearwater and he plugged both tires for $10 total and said I had no leak on the tire that the leak was too close to the tire wall.
