After 10 days and 160 miles my new Sorento was stalling and not running properly. Told to bring car in the next morning @9:00. After 2 plus hours I was told I would have to leave car and they would get me and not running properly. Told to bring car in the next morning @9:00. After 2 plus hours I was told I would have to leave car and they would get me a loaner. After another 30 minutes I was told there were no loaners from either Kia or Nissan dealerships and they would rent a car from Hertz. After another wait, thinking Hertz was bringing a car, I was given a slip of paper with a PO # and was driven down to Hertz by their driver. When I got there they wanted my charge card which I did not feel I needed to give since it was not my rental. I asked to be driven home, about 8 miles, but was told that was too far so they took me back to dealership, about 4-5 miles. When I got back they told me a Sportage was available but at that point I was disgusted and just wanted to be driven home by shuttle driver, which I was. I made numerous phone calls that afternoon and the next morning, leaving messages, trying to get info on my car - nobody called back. It wasn’t until 2:00pm that I got a call saying my car was ready. Shuttle driver picked me up. My Customer CSR, Kareem, had an attitude when I mentioned all the phone messages I had left without a response and about the whole loaner car debacle. The inside of my car was not cleaned out very well with plastic stuffed into the door handle (I have pictures) and other materials left inside. I found the whole experience very frustrating and not customer friendly. I had just spent $43,000 just 10 days earlier and did not feel this was a good first experience. More
Could not express in more detail how unhappy I have been in the last 20 weeks dealing with Kia service department with oil issues for the Optima. Then to be told there was nothing to be done other than foot in the last 20 weeks dealing with Kia service department with oil issues for the Optima. Then to be told there was nothing to be done other than foot out an additional $8000 for a new engine. The worst part is after my last visit I left the lot where the engine light was on I immediately went back told them was refused service but told I could make an appointment for the next day spend $99 on a diagnostic fee, I declined I went home checked the car myself to find that they had emptied out all of the oil from my car and never replaced it.. No regard to safety or reliability of any of your vehicles. More
I brought my car in for an oil change and another minor issue on 4/9/21. The scheduler said since I was leaving my car would I like to have it washed? I said yes. I received a call from Tyler stating my ti issue on 4/9/21. The scheduler said since I was leaving my car would I like to have it washed? I said yes. I received a call from Tyler stating my tires needed to be rotated. Since I left my car there and went to work I told Tyler to have the tires rotated and I would pick my car up after work. I checked out with service, found my car (the checkout person pointed in a direction and said it’s somewhere over there) and noticed my car had NOT been washed. I checked the service ticket and the tires had NOT been rotated. The minor issue had NOT been fixed and I am wondering if the oil was actually changed. This is my 3rd vehicle from Lokey Kia and I have always had my vehicles serviced there. I am very disappointed in the service I received on 4/9/21!!! More
Excellent in every respect. Appt made, vehicle taken into service on time. Waiting room very comfortable with WiFi and coffee and donuts...yummy. Everyone is always so helpful and considerate. I walk with canes and it is difficult for me to go very far. Dave is so wonderful to bring me the bill and to make sure my car is nearby after servicing. La with canes and it is difficult for me to go very far. They rushed around and didn’t do the tire rotation like I asked them too.
