I brought my car in because it was turning off on me in the middle of driving even on major highways. I got it checked out and they claimed that nothing was wrong with my car. I rely on the Service Dept. at Lokey Kia. I believe that they do their best based on their knowledge base, their experience and their use of Kia resources. On Jan. 27, 2020, I brought my car in for a repeat they do their best based on their knowledge base, their experience and their use of Kia resources. On Jan. 27, 2020, I brought my car in for a repeat eval. of previously reported oil consumption of > a qt. per 1000 mi. Originally the replacement of the PCV valve ($72.45) was supposed to fix the problem. It didn’t. Our 2012 Sorento with approx’ly 86,000 and the same 2.4L GDI motor didn’t use oil as our Optima does. I’d like this issue resolved. The other two issues,, minor in nature, were handled. In addition, previous issues which involved a noise that occurred every time my car was started, and driven and reached a steady speed, were related to a torn rear engine mount on 7/29/19 and on 8/19/19 to a drive belt tensioner which was replaced under warranty. I was told if that if noise continued , it could be due to a loose muffler. The noise continued. On 1/27/2020, lead technician, Adam Donoho who worked on my car that day took a test drive w me around the block and determined that the noise was related to the high pressure fuel pump which apparently is normal. This survey asks me if I would recommend Lokey Kia service center. That’s difficult to answer with a simple yes or no. The service scheduler/coordinator, Harrison is great to work with... no complaints there but it’s taken a few return trips to resolve the noise issue and the oil consumption issue is still unresolved and pertains to the techs. Since there is no “grey area” answer such as “possibly” or “with reservation”, I’d have to say No for now. More
