Mr. Fly I was working with Ms Megan the internet used car sales rep starting last week. I was looking at the 2008 black 4runner sr5 V8 4wd listed on your dealer website/auto trader. I set up the appt with her to test drive the vehicle on Monday; She called me to confirm the appt and I asked her if the car was still available and she confirmed it. once I got there monday night around 8:15pm she already left for the day and truck wasnt available. I spoke with your business director and fred and they told me that car was sold last saturday. Ive wasted 30mins of my time and gas for NOTHING I was very disappointed. Thanks.

We understand your perception of good-will, however, Toyota rules in that arena and we are not able to overturn their ruling. Toyota of Lewisville takes pride in offering quality services at fair rates. In your situation, Toyota recommends the dealership remove the door panel, however, it does not sound like your mechanic did that in this situation. We remove the door panel to prevent the panel from becoming warped. I am sorry for the way you feel about Toyota of Lewisville. That is interesting that Mr. Fly blames Toyota corporate. His service manager told me to contact them, which I did. I filed a case with them and they told me they prefer for the local dealership and district manager to make the decision! I know this is an ongoing issue and there are other dealerships who are paying for this repair. You can google 2007 Toyota Camry strut problems and see what I am talking about. Regarding the side mirror, there was absolutely no reason to take off the door panel when everything to put the new mirror on is right there on the side. For $162 difference I think most people would "risk" it.
