I did my homework and shopped around - I was in a bind because I have a lease and I was upside down when I got it to start with - I wanted to trade it early, and everyone that I spoke to, every single dea because I have a lease and I was upside down when I got it to start with - I wanted to trade it early, and everyone that I spoke to, every single dealer, wanted to take me for a very long ride… From the moment that I contacted Lorenzo Buick GMC, I felt like part of the family - I know people say that all the time, but I really felt it. They gave me exactly what I was looking for at a price that I could afford - they did not haggle, they didn’t make empty promises, they didn’t bait and switch, they didn’t tell me one thing and then show me another (several dealers did this) one GMC dealer in Coral Springs told me they had the vehicle in stock and when I got there, they said it was just sold - they told me they would get me what I wanted as long as I would sign the deal - they want it about $300 more than what I told them my maximum was - they told me my deal was impossible, and I was not being realistic. The next GMC dealer was in Sunrise - same, empty promises, I arrived and they had a completely different vehicle and color. They told me that what I wanted wasn’t available and that I would have to wait for one that was in transit. - when I asked them why they couldn’t tell me that and not make me go there and waste time, the manager said “it is the nature of the beast, we need you here to buy what we have not order a new unit just for you” He then walked away, telling me that what I wanted was unrealistic, and no dealer would be able to do it. I was completely frustrated, so I googled “who is the biggest GMC dealer in Florida” the reply was a GMC dealer in Tampa. They were the same, but they worked with me a little - but in the end, it was the same instead of a three or four year lease, they wanted me to finance for 84 months promising 4.5% interest if my credit rating was as high as I claim. I told him my beacon score was right around 800, and it is. I am a military veteran and they offered discounts for that - however, prime lending rate is above that percentage, and due to being in the industry some years ago, I knew that you cannot lend below prime rate and give incentives and rebates. It’s either one or the other. After being completely frustrated and ready to give up, I called Lorenzo Buick GMC, and spoke to Javier - it was as if he took me by the hand (he is an Army veteran) I won’t hold that against him USMC… I told them that at the present time I am paying just under $1000 - $998.97 to be exact I went on to tell him that I would probably be over mileage at the rate that I am going because of a trip to South Dakota, Sturgis bike rally and that I was trying to get out of a diesel truck and into a gas truck because of the prices of diesel - I told him that I did not want to be above $1000 and that I wasn’t gonna give an exuberant down payment to get me to my monthly payment. He worked diligently with his team and the managers at Lorenzo Buick GMC and came up with a four year lease, 10,000 miles a year for $998 a month. I paid the first month payment as you do with any lease and drove away going straight to the Coral Springs dealer to show him that the deal could be done. Today I drove to the Sunrise dealer as well and waved at everybody when they came out. Jorge (Sales guy) was absolutely outstanding. He was the reason why I kept going back and finally made the decision to buy my 2027 Terrain Elevation.
