I recently purchased a 2025 Tesla Model 3 from Lorenzo Nissan of Fort Lauderdale, and this was by far one of the most deceptive and dishonest dealership experiences I have ever had. The vehicle was advertised online for $34,390 after dealer discounts, but once I arrived at the dealership, the price mysteriously changed. This is how they get you—false advertising online to bring you in, then quietly changing the numbers in person. My salesperson, John Benigno, lied to me directly and acted as if everything was fine and transparent throughout the process. Instead of looking out for the customer, he was clearly focused on padding his own commission. I was excited to finally trade in my old car and move into something new, and they took full advantage of that moment. To make matters worse, the finance manager never properly reviewed or explained the breakdown of the numbers. I was verbally told one monthly payment, but after owning the car for a week and reviewing my paperwork, I discovered the numbers were completely different. I was misled. On top of that, they added an extended service contract costing nearly $5,000 without my authorization. I was never told it was included, never agreed to it, and never signed off knowingly. What makes this even worse is that Tesla does not accept third-party warranties unless sold directly by Tesla, making this add-on essentially useless. This is fraud and deceptive business practices, plain and simple. I strongly advise anyone reading this: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Florida Attorney General and posting reviews everywhere possible to ensure this does not happen to anyone else. Buyers beware. More
