Every time I go to Lou Sobh for service, they always treat me like a king! Took my 2018 Pilot in for an oil change and hood latch recall. The tech recommended we have the transmission oil changed. We discussed it and I asked if Honda required that maintenance work to be done. recall. The tech recommended we have the transmission oil changed. We discussed it and I asked if Honda required that maintenance work to be done. The Tech responded Honda only recommends and does not required maintenance work as such to be done. We agreed to the fluid change. When I got home, I called to verify if the hood latch work was done and was informed it had not...but bring in the car the next day and it would be taken care of. We did and the tech provided two no charge oil changes. Later,my son in law referenced the Pilot maintenance schedule on line and discovered the transmission oil change is recommended every 90,000 miles. If this is true, we feel that we were charged for a transmission fluid change, that perhaps was not required. I am looking for some answers! More
