Finally a car dealer that does it right. The price was on the window. All the cars were certified and came with a warranty. They were polite. I love Low Book Sales and would go back for my next car. Al on the window. All the cars were certified and came with a warranty. They were polite. I love Low Book Sales and would go back for my next car. Also, the car I purchased was not the car I really wanted. When I went back to the dealership, they switched me into another vehicle (A Ford F350) that I really loved. Thanks Low Book!!!! Mark More
MY COUSIN BOUGHT A CAR FROM LOW BOOK, THOUGH SHE DIDN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT CARS SHE BOUGHT SOMETHING SHE COULD AFFORD. THIS CAR WAS IS SHAMBLES WHEN I SAW IT. THE DASH BOARD WAS PEELING OFF FROM THE WINDSHIEL KNOW MUCH ABOUT CARS SHE BOUGHT SOMETHING SHE COULD AFFORD. THIS CAR WAS IS SHAMBLES WHEN I SAW IT. THE DASH BOARD WAS PEELING OFF FROM THE WINDSHIELD TOWARDS THE PASSENGERS. IT RAN TERRIBLY. THERE IS A LOT TO BE SAID ABOUT ETHICS IN BUSINESS. I HAVE NEVER STEPPED ON A LOT AND NEVER WILL. JUST FROM THE RADIO COMMERCIALS YOU CAN TELL THAT LOW BOOK SALES IS ALL ABOUT LOW BALLING THE CUSTOMER. More
I went to these people hoping to get a nice truck. They have a seven day exchange policy. So I decided I did not want a 400 dollar payment. I wen't back to exchange it. They dont tell you in their exchan have a seven day exchange policy. So I decided I did not want a 400 dollar payment. I wen't back to exchange it. They dont tell you in their exchange policy they want you to trade for even value. They have cars on their site for 1200 and 3000 they don't tell you they cant exchange for these. They had a really nice jaguar on their site for 3000 as soon as they found out it was worth about 5000 they took it off their site. imagine that. When I did my exchange they would not let me have that one. So they jerked around with me for about 7 hrs I finally got out of their with a 1600 dollar piece of crap car. I was suppose to come back and pick up my check 4 days later they told me it would be in their office. Come to find out They did not have my check ready at all. Til this day I still have not seen my other 1400 dollars. When you go to ther car lot they want to sell you what they have on their lot. Not what you actually want. Then they have their little office the play games in while you sit. They close the door after you talk a deal out with the sales person. I would definanetly not buy another car from these people. If you are hard up and don't mind paying twice as much than your vehicle is actually worth I would go to these people. They can get anyone approved. More
I went into Lowbook from a bad situation, my first car as a teenager just died and I needed something in a hurry. Being young and desparate and accompanied by my boyfriend we were the prime target. I came a teenager just died and I needed something in a hurry. Being young and desparate and accompanied by my boyfriend we were the prime target. I came in with NO knowledge of car buying other than knowing I couldn't afford a payment of more than $250.00 a month. The salesman took us around the lot paying careful attention to what caught an 18 year old's eye. I picked out a 2000 VW Passat with a sticker price of $11,500.00. The salesman ASSURED me I could get a loan that would put my payments where I wanted them. After running my credit alone they told me I wasn't able to qualify because I didn't have ENOUGH credit. So my boyfriend at the time offered to "co-sign." Or so they told me that's what would happen. We end up geting a great interest rate (which was the ONLY positive experience) but my payments end up being $287.65 a month and I was only told that AFTER all the paperwork had been signed, he was careful to leave our initial conversation in my head until he hooked the sale. Our salesman spent EXTRA time talking us into overpriced warranties. By the end of it all I walked out of there with a loan in the amount of $16,500.00. That's $5,000.00 MORE than what the sticker was! After I started having problems with the car I come to find out that my warranty that cost me an extra $2,000.00 didn't cover the problems. It was specifically designed to cover things that were least likely to go wrong! Then when I needed to change my address on the loan I called my bank who financed me and after A LOT of headache they inform me that my name was NO WHERE on the loan, that it was SOLELY in my ex's name. The paperwork Lowbook had given me to sign were documents that explained what features the car had, they had NOTHING to do with the loan. All they cared about was getting the sale and now being 22 I STILL pay for the mistake I made by trusting this company. They took advantage of us and needless to say I've learned my lesson. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from them. My cousin bought a car from them and after 2 weeks they couldn't find anyone to finance her and took the car back, charging stocking fees and mileage. My sister bought a VW Bug from them and long story short it turned out to be lemon. These people are anxious to make sales and are VERY good at finding your weaknesses. They are good at what they do, I'll give them that. It's sad that our world has come to this, that taking advantage of people for personal gain is so widely accepted. More
I have dealt with many car dealers in the past, and they all have their pros and cons. I have bad credit so I knew that I wasn't going to get an amazing APR on a new car going in. That said, I think the d all have their pros and cons. I have bad credit so I knew that I wasn't going to get an amazing APR on a new car going in. That said, I think the deal I ended up with from Low Book Sales was fair considering my credit situation, and I ended up with a brand new car. I had been denied for financing through other dealers, so it was great to actually get approved and drive away in a new car finally. Low Book Sales has a very friendly staff, and I didn't get the typical slimeball sales approach that I am used to with car dealerships. The salesperson was friendly, explained the options on each vehicle well, and answered all of my questions without over-selling. I would go back to Low Book Sales again and deal with the same salesperson, because its hard to find one that is knowledgeable and not overly salesy at most dealerships... maybe I just got lucky, but the overall feel of the place was good and I now have a new car to show for it. I signed all the documents to purchase a 2004 Honda Odyssey and they told me that bye the time my husband came in that evening that they would have a final approval for the loan with an intrest rate at Odyssey and they told me that bye the time my husband came in that evening that they would have a final approval for the loan with an intrest rate at 10.99%. When my husband came in to sign the paperwork, they did not have a final approval. A week passed and I had not heard anything from the dealer to tell me who the loan was being processed through, what my final interest rate would be and when my first payment was due. I spoke to the finance manager and he said he would "get right on it" and would call me back that evening. I did not hear anything from him that night, the next day I called and he indicated that he was able to get the car financed, but the interest rate would be 17.99 to finance the whole thing, or 14.99 with a $1000 down payment. I indicated to them that the person I signed paperwork with had said that the interest rate would not be any higher that 10.99 and that they had an initial approval at that rate, so he would get me that interest rate or we would bring the car back and take our trade back. The finance manager said that he would continue to work on it, and that I could call first thing in the morning that he would be there at 8 am. Called the next day and he was not in and I was told that he never came in before 12noon. I indicated that I wanted to talk to the gentleman that we had signed paperwork with, and they put me on hold. The salesperson came on the line and told me that the finance person said to tell me that the deal was out to a couple of banks, and they were going to get me 10.99 or we could bring the vehicle back. Another sales person called me a few minutes later and indicated that they had an approval for 9.75, but it would require a down payment of $1000. I told him that they had not been up front with us from the beginning and that we were going to bring the vehicle back and get our trade back because we didnt want to work with them anymore. He then told me that I would have to pay a dealer restock fee and mileage. He also told me that he knew this was not my fault, but they had been through 2 finance managers and a General Manager in the week since I puchase my vehicle. My husband and I went in and the finance manager spoke with us about the financing. He indicated that he had found a lender who was willing to do the loan at 9.75, but they could not accept the trade. We indicated that there was no way we could come up with $1000 down, and we could not make 2 car payments. We took our trade back, and went to another dealer who was able to get us a similar vehicle for $2000 less and get us financed a 7.49%. Thank goodness we got out of that deal with low book. They are crooks and will take you for whatever they think that they can. More
They lie about pretty much everything. They will do ANYTHING to sell you a car. One salesman even tried to tell me that NADA is only used in the East Coast and Never on the west coast so he can convinc ANYTHING to sell you a car. One salesman even tried to tell me that NADA is only used in the East Coast and Never on the west coast so he can convince me. They underestimate the intelligence of the buying public. They have RIDICOLOUSLY HIGH fees after they close the sale. They charge 600 bucks for documentation fees. They force you to buy a 800 gap insurance. They have "other" fees that doesnt make sense. The sticker price of the car that they sold me was $8000, after they charge me all their ridiculous fees the total amount of the loan was $11,000. thats $3000 more! I got an interest rate 5% lower than theirs when i applied for a car loan on a credit union. Good thing i backed out of their deal before it was too late. More
The car had a problem during test drive, we were told was fixed after purchasing it which it was not. We have spent more money than if we bought from a certified dealer. Once the sale is final they don't ca fixed after purchasing it which it was not. We have spent more money than if we bought from a certified dealer. Once the sale is final they don't care about pleasing you anymore. More
