Service manager John Reinan responded quickly and very politely to my posted comments here. He patiently discussed the multiple technical difficulties involved in determining the exact cause the serious problem (computer error codes did not give sufficient clues) to specifically identify the faulty component without trying multiple fixes each time the problem intermittently and unexpectedly returned. I was impressed by the service manager's description of the extensive efforts his service team went to each service appointment and especially the way Mitch Rose and Aidan Pixley went to bat for me with their management. Special thanks to those two! The problem has not recurred in the past few weeks and I am hopeful that this issue has been solved. I am now satisfied with the Luther service team's efforts on my behalf and really appreciated the frank and helpful discussion I had with John Reinan, Service Manager, who helped me more completely understand the situation. My major frustration was with the car and definitely not with the staff, who were doing what they could to help and should be congratulated for doggedly pursuing a solution this elusive problem. I am more than satisfied that all staff involved did all they could to help. Staff ratings should all be raised to maximum positive ratings now that I understand their efforts and shared frustration dealing with this problem.
