Preyed on what he believed was an uneducated female buyer My wife has purchased at least 4 Acura MDX SUVs over the past several years, so we are very loyal Acura customers. The last one was also purchased from this dealership. Last week, my wife was ready to upgrade again, and she wanted to just handle the process herself. She knew exactly what car she wanted, and what additional options she wanted added. We always do a 36 month "one-pay lease" (no monthly payments). She had Mory quote her what the single payment would be. It seemed high to her based on our history, so she emailed the figures to me to review. I am an executive in the financing industry, so the math was not hard, but I did have to assume a cost of money variable. I also felt his number was very high compared to my resulting math. A called Mory to share my questions around the single pay price - purposely giving him an option to say a mistake had been made in calculating the single payment. He held fast to his numbers saying that he had no control over the variables - and was very evasive around my questions. As a result, I got a quote from another dealer, knowing Mory's numbers were out of line. The "one pay lease" from the other dealer on the exact same car and options was $7,000 less than what my wife was being quoted! Suffice it to say we went with the other dealer instead of Luther Bloomington Acura. I am sharing this experience because I was disgusted that as very good Acura customer an attempt would be made to take such outrages advantage of my wife. Fortunately, she did not fall victim, but I would advise any buyer to be careful with both this sales person and this dealership! I understanding that people pay different amounts for the same car, and that the car buying experience is a negotiation. However, this example felt so outrages that I was compelled to share it. She would have paid a 25% higher "one-pay-lease" amount compared to the other dealer's quote. I did not even even attempt to negotiate further with this other dealer because I wanted to reward the integrity this other salesperson and dealership had demonstrated. More

Oil Change w/Air Bag Recall Leonel Alas, was exceptional. I drove in for the accelerated service to get my oil changed. I had an appointment made to have my Air Bag Recall comple Leonel Alas, was exceptional. I drove in for the accelerated service to get my oil changed. I had an appointment made to have my Air Bag Recall completed on Sunday. When my oil change was almost finished Leonel came and said they had time to complete the recall on my airbag if I had the time available. I was very happy he offered to have this completed so I could free up the rest of my weekend. Initially, I had the appointment scheduled for the end of July and due to a cancellation I was able to move up to Sunday and then with Leonels offer I got it completed 2 days earlier. Leonel was most kind without an edge. Everything about him was comfortable, warm, pleasant and easy going. The service was very quick. I work in customer service as a receptionist/admin support and I get a feel for people when I encounter them. Leonel was a pleasure to deal with in our short encounter. Thank You! More
