6000 mi check After driving for 90 minutes from my home, I pulled into the “Accelerated Service” lane after being refused on the phone for an appointment. For an oil change????? “Accelerated Service” is yet another oxymoron like fast food, jumbo shrimp, fun run etc. It isn’t that they didn’t do a good job but I could have gone down the street at home to Jiffy Lube & been out in 15 min. To be fair there was a software update needed & that added some time. More

Oil change express was too long I went in on Monday-2 hour wait. I decided to leave and come back on Wednesday morning. 1 hr 40 minutes to complete service. Nice people but slow. Poor communication I had a vehicle in for service on a Friday and parts needed to be ordered, which meant keeping my vehicle there until the following Monday which was u I had a vehicle in for service on a Friday and parts needed to be ordered, which meant keeping my vehicle there until the following Monday which was understandable. Heard nothing from the service associate appointed to me (Alex) by 4pm Monday, made a couple calls before somebody getting ahold of him to tell me the part was defective and that my car would not be ready until the following day. The next day I waited to contact Acura until 3pm again since I heard nothing from Alex, and again took me a couple times of calling to get an answer, yet never hearing from Alex. Yes my vehicle was repaired and this could’ve been worse but I just wanted to comment on the poor communication from Alex, people do like to be updated as they depend highly on their vehicle. Everyone else I dealt with at Bloomington Acura was great. More
