Horrible customer service from service department. Rude. disrepectful (eye rolling) condescending from 3 of the personnel. Told we had coverage for A/C repair under extended warranty. Pulled our car from another shop and WAITED 3 days for appt. at Hyundai to then be told during the cashier checkout process that service would not be covered. By the way it has been 90 to 100 degrees here for a week. Should NEVER use this service department. Obviously, this is a pattern from the reviews on several sites. I would especially agree with the deceptive tactic review!!!! More
I took my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe in to Bloomington Luther Hyundai to fix the lock on the driver's side passenger side door. Several weeks later, the door would not open because the door panel was loose. I Hyundai to fix the lock on the driver's side passenger side door. Several weeks later, the door would not open because the door panel was loose. I returned to have that repaired. A few weeks later, the door panel was loose again and I could not open the door again. This time I decided to go to another Hyundai dealer. The other dealer reported that a) the lock in the door was not attached to the door (e.g., it was not attached by any screws and was just hanging there) and b) several door clips and screws were missing. They said that the work was very sloppy and it looked like someone had forced parts apart. I also had an oil change during of these visits at Bloomington Hyundai. My car engigne was overfilled by at least a quart. I went on a 2000 mile road trip and the engine was knocking badly during the trip. When I discovered it and talked to Bloomington Hyundai, they said that it was no big deal. Needless to say, after two experiences of very sloppy work, I will never again take my car to this dealership for service. They have been informed of the situation and have made no response to me, as well. More
I went in for an oil change, checked in at 1:10 - asked the lady at 2:30 if they were almost done, she said yes. Checked again at 2:50, they were trying to locate my car? Finally left there at 3:10 - for the lady at 2:30 if they were almost done, she said yes. Checked again at 2:50, they were trying to locate my car? Finally left there at 3:10 - for an oil change, with no explanation. A week later, I found a Burger King receipt in my car..time punched 1:36 on the date I was getting my oil changed. So while I was patiently waiting for my car, they were out getting lunch with it. I talked to the dealership manager and emailed Mr. Luther and have not received a response from either person. Will not be going back here again, even though my oil changes are covered under my lease. More
Misquoted price for service. Got mixed messages on warranty information. The service took much longer than necessary. My 2010 Elantra is my second car from this Hyundai dealership, with the previous car being a 350 XG. My experience with the service department at this dealership has been excellent. They are always friendly and helpful and do the work properly the first time. When you wait for your car, the work is done promptly, and they provide a comfortable waiting area with coffee and computers available for your use. Nick and all the people in the service area are helpful at all times. More
I have owned my Hyundai Sonata for 9 years. Purchasing the extended warranty was the best decision I've ever made. I just had both front wheel bearings replaced, again. They were just replaced 6,000 mil the extended warranty was the best decision I've ever made. I just had both front wheel bearings replaced, again. They were just replaced 6,000 miles ago. The work was top notch. I just always have this nagging feeling that Hyundai scrimps on quality to keep the cost down. I guess the old adage is true, you get what you pay for. On the other hand, the total cost of ownership of this car over the last 9 years has been extremely good. So what am I complaining about? More

In addition, when I bought the vehicle the salesperson was excellent (altho he's no longer with the dealership)..everyone was helpful and made the experience much more pleasant than some that I've had.
