I had a great experience with Luther Chrysler Dodge Ram. I live more than 6 hours away and was able to complete my entire buying experience remotely. Nick, my sales person was fantastic. We were impressed with our salesman, Jalyn Johnson. He knew alot about the vehicle, altho he did tell us inaccurate information about towing. They even delivered the car to Wisconsin 4 hours away! (They discouraged us from picking it up at the dealership for some reason.) However, I have never had such a difficult time giving someone over $39,000 in cash!! Way too many hoops to jump through requiring different departments who don't seem to know what each other is doing. My phone calls to the finance department were never returned (4 different people) and indeed, the car arrived in our driveway without us knowing how much money was needed or the breakdown. It should not require a credit check, a background check, or a motor vehicle check to pay cash for a vehicle. I could be buying it for my children or someone else could be buying it for me. Take the cash!! And there was no manual. Even tho it is a used car there should be a manual. We purchased it to tow behind our motorhome so the manual is essential to know what is necessary to flat tow it. Bottom line - we are disenchanted with the buying process at this dealership. I had to call the salesman at home several times because my questions were not answered which is not OK for him or me. More
