Buying a good used car painlessly My experience was a dream. I was looking for a used hybrid and started with the Camry's. Ann showed me the two used ones she had available and we drove one and liked it. She answered all my questions, including the mpg which wasn't as high as I had hoped. I then asked about the used Priuses I saw on her list, which were comparable price-wise and she took me around to find the one I was interested in. It was literally just been placed on the lot after cleaning it. I took it for a test drive and grabbed it. Ann was helpful, able to answer most of my questions and when she couldn't she'd confer with others. She wasn't pushy, which made me stay with the process until I found what I was looking for. It was a WONDERFUL experience, and far different from the last time I bought a car. I got what I thought was a fair trade for my Corolla, and walked away from the dealership only paying an additional $6,000 for a PRIUS!! I love this car, which is in excellent shape. I also purchased an extended maintenance plan, which I wasn't pushed to sign. I just thought would be easier for me. All in all, an excellent experience. Ann was great. More

I said a week ago, the fan on start-up sounded funny for a day or two, if there are any ways to check any there’s any file logs dates on Easter … . The greeter cut me off and explanation ended with if a sensor is trip a light on the dash would blink, asked me if anything was currently blinking on the dash. I said no. The greeter left the conversation in a tone of then if no light, it could not happen. Seemed could be rude but I blew it off and wait for my car. When the greeter came out stated my car was running and the fan was running fine. Then went into if the lights on dashboard don’t light up then don’t worry about it. I left it at, Next time I’ll record video on my phone. The greeter seemed to like that idea, then into rudely if the lights on dashboard don’t light up then don’t worry about it. From there somehow got to the greeter said, You may my know computers, but don’t tell me how to do my job! Said the greeter not the technician, if I’m reading the paperwork correctly. That was a few hours ago, and it is still bugging me, that’s not how I would treat a customer. More

The gentleman who checked me in for service had checked my record and was cognizant of what was required. The young man who met my car was polite and helpful. The wait in the comfortable waiting room with delicious coffee was relaxing as I read my book and waited. The TV was set on low voice, which I appreciate as I prefer quiet to noise. More

I completed a thorough description of the issues with the vehicle via the dealer's website when I made the appointment. I have had issues with the car's audio system since day one. I've been told it's my phone. I've been told the car needed a software update. The voice commands STILL say they're initializing and don't work. Despite the fact that I had listed these issues on my service request I was told that the real expert on the car would have to get back to me because he was gone for the day. It's better than an hour drive each way for me to get there so making another trip is an inconvenience. I was also told that the moon roof leaking in a touch-free car wash was normal and due to the high pressure of the water. The moon roof did not leak in the dealer's car wash last night. More
Rescued from car trouble quickly and with great service. Last week, late at night, the "check engine" light on my 2003 Toyota Corolla lit up - a bit scary, because I had no idea what was wrong - no obvious s Last week, late at night, the "check engine" light on my 2003 Toyota Corolla lit up - a bit scary, because I had no idea what was wrong - no obvious signs of trouble. I limped the car home, and called Toyota City in the morning. I had bought the car there, and they have done all my maintenance, always superbly. Duane Green asked a few questions, and was able to reassure me that I did not need a tow - I could drive the car in. He also assured me that they could fit me in immediately, and could shuttle me to work or put me in a loaner car if the repair was going to take a while. I got there (whew!), turned the car over to Duane and his team, and was out of there in just a little more than an hour with the car repaired (the problem turned out to have been a corroded neck on the fuel tank, and consequent drop in fuel pressure). Duane was also able to reassure me that no lasting harm had been done to the car. What could have been a car trouble nightmare turned into a smooth ride, with almost no disruption to my work day. More
Regular Service & More I stopped in to have a jammed bike rack removed from the hitch receiver. I just rolled the miles for an oil change and knew other service was due. Without an appointment on a Friday afternoon they completed Maintenance One and Two, changed oil/filter, removed jammed bike rack, and washed my car. All in less than one hour while providing a report on all the operational systems important to keeping my car running. My 2002 Camry XLE has over 192,000 miles and is still running fantastic due to the 12 years of excellent support and maintenance from this dealership. Linkster More
