I was greeted with a smile and recognition, my appointment was made on line so they knew I was coming. My wait was the 45 minutes he told me it would. I have been bringing my vehicles to Luther Brookdale Toyota (formerly Toyota City) for over 30 years. The work is always exceptional. If I am not satisfied, they take the vehicle back and "make it rig Toyota (formerly Toyota City) for over 30 years. The work is always exceptional. If I am not satisfied, they take the vehicle back and "make it right" at no further cost to me. These guys are professional, courteous, friendly and honest. There really isn't any more I can ask from a dealership. I have purchased 2 cars from here and have had all my cars serviced here. My current vehicles are both Toyotas and have 200,000 miles (Corolla) and 140,000 miles (Sienna) on them. Both vehicles have only been serviced here, so these guys know my cars. I see no reason to go anywhere else for service, especially now with the new facility. Steve Miller is an exceptional service manager and each person I deal with, from the car runners to the cashiers to the service managers are top notch and very personable. Don't go anywhere else to service your Toyota. This is the place to go! More
I always have a great experience whenever I bring my car in for service. Customer service reps are always prompt, polite, and professional. I always feel like I get honest, fair service. Be careful when you are negotiating for a new car at this dealership. Toyota offered a 750 rebate if you finance with TFS, which we did and when negotiating the price with the dealer they were figuring in t dealership. Toyota offered a 750 rebate if you finance with TFS, which we did and when negotiating the price with the dealer they were figuring in that rebate into the sales price of the car while we were negotiating the price. It's a bit difficult to explain but in the end we agreed on the price of 25215, before the rebate. When it was time to sign the paperwork the price showed 25965. So basically they were negotiating the rebate with us that we would have got anyways and then adjusting the actual sale price up by 750. In the end we were $750 apart and they refused to met the figure that we agreed on verbally. They did offer to allow me to return the car. In the end, I decided to keep the car and they came down a little on the price although they still did not meet the price we agreed to verbally. I will not buy another car from Luther. More
The experience up until actual finacing of the new car was very good. I made an appointment to pick up the car at 6:00 PM and arrived only a few minutes early. The salesman showed us our new car then ch was very good. I made an appointment to pick up the car at 6:00 PM and arrived only a few minutes early. The salesman showed us our new car then checked but finance was "not ready" for us. The sales man then spent time going over all the features of the car, then checked with finance again and they were not ready. The salesman then showed us how to sync our cell phones then checked again with finance, they were not ready. At that point we ended up sitting in the dealership for another hour or so waiting for finance. Aat 8:30 PM we were told that finace was ready and the salesman took us to him. The one issue I had asked early on was if they could match the interest rate of my credit union and got the answer "I'm sure we can equal that or beat it" but no numbers were given. This did not give me enough confidence so I prequalified for a loan from my credit union so I had a sure thing. Once in the finance office the salesman was handed the license plates, paperwork was laid in front of us and the intent seemed to be to "do the deal" without even telling me the interest rate or why I waited 2.5 hours to get into the office. I was upset, so I insisted on the credit union finacing I had brought in with me. It wasn't until my wife asked that we found out what rate the dealership had intended to charge. If they were at all concened in serving me they would have been sensitive to my wish to at least discuss interest rates before shoving paper under my nose as if it was a done deal. More
I was very happy with the sales and finance service I received at Brookdale Toyota. This was the easiest car buying experience I've had (and I've had a few). Randy stayed late on a Thursday to work a deal up on a vehicle that I had been looking at around town that evening. He asked all the right questions and made sure I was happy when I left (pushing to get the best deal possible). He wasn't pushy, which I appreciate. Everyone in the dealership was friendly and helpful. On pick up day, Randy was prepared with all my documents ready to go and the signing time in Finance took approximately 7 minutes. I have been driving for nearly 50 years, and taking care of my own vehicle for at least 40 years, during which time Luther Brookdale Toyota has far exceeded the performance of any other dealership I have used. The folks in the service area are beyond compare! People like Duane, in service, are the primary reason I decided to continue to lease with Toyota. I am confident in the expertise of the service people and know they will do the best work possible, and will not try to "push" unnecessary repairs or parts. They are without a doubt, TOP NOTCH!!!! The sales consultant I worked with, Dean Wathen, was fabulous. He has a great personality, great product knowledge, and was very easy to work with. Kudos to Dean regarding his spectacular customer service. I will most definitely recommend him to anyone considering purchasing or leasing a new vehicle. Again, I cannot say enough good about Luther Brookdale Toyota. It is a one of a kind dealership that goes above and beyond to make the customer experience positive! Keep up the great work!! More
