Very Disappointed With My Service Experience I came in at 7:00 AM for an oil change. While checking me in, the service advisor mentioned that my vehicle had two recalls, so I agreed to have those taken ca at 7:00 AM for an oil change. While checking me in, the service advisor mentioned that my vehicle had two recalls, so I agreed to have those taken care of while my car was already there. By 3:00 PM, I still had not received a call or text, so I called to check on the status. I was told my car had actually been finished for a few hours. I questioned the service representative about why I hadn't been notified. She checked the system and said a text had been sent at 2:19 PM. I checked my phone—there was no text. When I picked up my car, I noticed the "Maintenance Required" message was still showing, and the mileage sticker had not been updated. I assumed they had simply forgotten to reset the maintenance reminder, so I went back inside and asked the same advisor to reset it. He had someone reset it for me. After leaving, I looked over my receipt and noticed there was no oil change listed. I called back to confirm whether my oil had actually been changed because, after all, that was the original reason I brought my car in—not the recalls. I was then told that they had completed the two recalls but did not perform the oil change. I had to bring my car back to the dealership and pay for an oil change that should have been taken care of during my original visit. Considering the inconvenience, lack of communication, and the fact that the primary service I requested was completely missed, this was extremely frustrating. Mistakes happen, but this could have been easily avoided with better communication and attention to the customer's requested services. Please do better next time. More
