Cover for coolant was removed and not put back on after a routine 30k Miles service. After the service, I drove up north for 2.5 hours until I got a warning for my coolant and engine levels. When I opened the hood, I found the coolant tank was empty and the cover was missing. After searching with a flashlight, I found the cover in the bottom of the engine and had to refill as the tank was empty. I’m very disappointed in the quality of the service and the fact that my vehicle could have overheated while I was driving with my children because someone failed to put a cap back on and drained the coolant. This seems like a normal checklist item that shouldn’t have been missed. More
