In the end I was fully satisfied with the transaction including the extended warranty package. Preston waited an hour after closing time to make sure all my papers were finalized and even gave me a rundown on all the functions of the interior controls. She contacted us through the Truecar program, and we agreed on an price shortly thereafter. We purchased the car two days later, and it was the simplest, easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. I worked with Jennifer Baldwin in the finance department, but we ultimately did not finance through Volkswagen as we got a better rate at our local credit union. Jennifer was great in helping me look at options, communicating with the credit union I financed with, and helping me get the Auto Show Discount applied even though VW was being slow to email me my voucher. We paid a deposit on the car sight unseen. On the day we closed on the car, Karen came in on her day off and walked us through all of the various features of the new car, answered all of our questions and sent us on our way. The car was given to us exactly as advertised, and there were absolutely no surprises or hard upsells during the closing.We walked out paying exactly what we had agreed to pay, and were not ever meant to feel like we needed to buy more. When they couldn't find the second key for the vehicle, Karen arranged to have a new one purchased for us and even to deliver it to us by hand. That was totally not necessary, as we are fine with one key for a little while, and I will pick it up when I come in to pick up the plates. Karen has since communicated with me to keep me updated about the status of the keys and the plates. It will be a while before I buy another new car, but I would highly recommend every member of the team I worked with at Luther Brookdale Volkswagen. More

Great purchase experience! I am a regular customer for service at Brookdale Volkswagen. I stopped in about a month ago to look at the newer models with an idea of replacing my 2 I am a regular customer for service at Brookdale Volkswagen. I stopped in about a month ago to look at the newer models with an idea of replacing my 2004 Beetle Convertible with a newer model. I was greeted out in the parking lot by salesperson Lara Velenchenko. She showed me two new Beetle Convertibles parked outside. I asked if she had any used models and she checked and found that the dealership had a 2014 Beetle Convertible coming in. She reviewed the available paperwork about this vehicle with me and said she would notify me when it came in. After the vehicle came in she showed it to me and provided a thorough review of it’s features. I purchased the car from her and I am very happy with it. If it wasn’t for Lara’s knowledge and energy I would have never known about this car! She took a guy in the parking lot and made a satisfied buyer out of him. Besides her knowledge and energy, I especially appreciated her honesty during this purchase. She answered all of my many questions and made me feel appreciated by her and the dealership.
